If I recall correctly, you also mentioned it was quite good.

I'll try it. I always do. But Fort George has effectively weaned me off the excitement I used to get every year for that seasonal.

Looks like theyve embraced the new regional arrangement...

The Cloudburst version wasn't all that murky so I could see a non-murky version landing sometime down the line. That batch really disappointed me. I think the haze they do has been outstanding so I don't mind, but would certainly welcome a return to the pine-laden west coast days.

Just a small amount for Northern California based on FG’s posts today.

I see Newport Brewing is up for sale.
It's a nice building but asking price too high. I hear the guy had no experience in breweries..in above his head.
Like I said beautiful place inside. Average beer

Yes. I think it has the potential to be one of the better hazy 3 way IPA's made. The aroma profile was dank with good citrus and tropical fruit, and I liked the Mouthfeel.

The last few years I haven't been all that thrilled with the yearly 3 way. Typically, it's been one and done after trying it. I'm hopeful that this year will be different.

    I like the idea of a 3-way lager/pilsner.

or a 3-way ipa with Kveik yeast......

    or a belgian style IPA

just something different than the past 3 years of murkbombs

Has it been only 3 years of murkbombs? It feels like more. Maybe that's the bitter taste of disappointment that makes the memory linger.

This will be the fifth year of hazy 3-way. 2017 with Great Notion and Reubens was the first year the clarity changed.

That was also the last year Mrs. vurt and I made a special trip to Astoria to pick up some 3-Way.

Block 15 is releasing a new beer this weekend:

    RELEASING THIS WEEKEND: HELLES BOCK

A full-bodied lager that features toasty, sweet maltiness with a restrained hop profile, this classic German-style beer dances with notes of bread, spice, and pine. Helles Bock is a smooth and clean lager that finishes delightfully dry.

Helles Bock will be available at both #Block15 accounts this coming Saturday, with distribution to accounts around the PNW beginning the following week.

(Copied from Block 15's Facebook page.)

In the category of "fun out-of-market beers made possible by COVID," keep your eyes out for Parish Brewing on the shelves in OR. Based on my limited experience, one of the best Louisiana breweries (along with Courtyard). Grabbed some Envie pale ale canned 4/22, as well as Reve (one of my all-time favorite coffee stouts) at my local MOC. Hoping to see some Ghost in the Machine as well!

The inhumanity! Next thing you know, we'll be awash in LA Dungeness crab! Maybe we need to send them some of our world famous jambalaya as a thank you.
A bunch of Ghost in the Machine did make it to Portland. A lot of battleships posted photos

It's like they release a new beer every other week. Not that I am complaining

Did anyone try Block 15's Passionfruit/Guava Stout? Intrigued but not enough to buy a can.
