Normally as much as I love DDH ACE I would scoff at this notion, but drinking a DDH Space Diamonds now, this is absolutely fantastic.

Yeah I'm scratching my head at how purchasing a full 4-pack is a burden to some.

You could do an IP trade or just split them with some friends. Worst case scenario is that you *gasp* have to drink the beer you bought.

Not a burden but so much beer to try out there that a full 4 pack of 6 different beers is a bit excessive.

Agree - but how often are there 6 beers where you really feel compelled to buy them all.

Nine times out of ten, there are one or two I want to buy, I buy a couple 4 packs, drink most over the weekend and drown my sorrows on a Monday night with the last couple cans.

I do agree that singles would be ideal. But it’s rarely a problem in practice. For me at least.

Oh cool I didn't know trill let you buy singles too. I've only ever been to the Boston location and they only sold by 4 pack but this was years ago.

I'd love if OH sold by singles, but they probably don't have the infrastructure for that. I usually rely on you guys to steer me towards the 1 or 2 4 packs that stand out each week.

Is it a Massachusetts state-law thing that breweries have to sell single cans? I’m always surprised at the extra work it is for the people working at Treehouse to put the truly mixed cases together for people.

Getting there we 1 on Friday. Should be safe to get the 6 cans being released?

    Yes

While a lot of people might pass through because of the long weekend, there isn't anything on the list that should sell out fast.

The winning ticket is Space Diamonds, Hop Showers, and Cashmere.

edit: Though B1 Green Power is still one of the greatest OH cans ever, and 2 years ago I would've told you that double mosaic daydream is the best beer they brew.

I missed B1 Green Power, but I vividly remember my first Double Mosaic Daydream and that beer fucked.

You might be in trouble... St. Gambrinus is sending down a padre to perform the Stations of Cross mass during the line wait. Pilgrims from all over the tri-state area will ask forgiveness for OH has embraced the graven image of the golden bovine by brewing with lactose and forsaking the Holy Trinity of grain, water, & hops.

    Happy Easter/Passover!

It's also because of the positive reactions from sharing the bottle at festivals and in the taproom.

I haven’t had as many OH beers as most of you have but I consider Green Power batch 1 to be THE best OH beer I’ve ever had. I was honestly blown away by that. The softness. That little subtle melon on top of that citrus dank. It was perfect imo.

Saying that, I was given a can from batch 2 and although it was certainly good, it’s was a considerable drop off from the 1st.

Someone on the Facebook group said the reason they haven’t been able to replicate the first batch is because it was brewed at Interboro with their yeast while they finished the new taproom. Like anything with that group though, take it with a grain of salt.

I did hear this a while back as well. If true, makes you think why OH and Interboro haven't recreated it as a collab.

I remember their first collab together had the same melon vibe but they havent recreated it since :slight_frown:

The first batch (draft only) of Green Down to the Socks was tied with B1 of Green Power for me. So good.

Given how few circles of beer there are, my guess would be that you both heard the rumor from the same origination.

They came very close to recreating that beer in Ok BK as well as that heavenly batch of The Other Day some time a year ago, and in a few other Vt. yeast beers.

Meanwhile I think Another Dose is the only Interboro beer that's come close.
