Thanks for the update , was wondering what happened to that guy. I hope he gets banned from Other Half, last time I saw him there, he saw me, gave me a hug, bought me a beer and 2 hours later was on here bad mouthing me.

BTW, epic haul at Other Half last Saturday, awesome beers.

Would want a single hop beer with Riwaka before really saying, but overall it’s v tasty

His behavior is very erratic, I suspect a combination of too many DDH ACE’s and head injuries from crashing his tricycle.

Drinking a DDH Citra Daydream now, so good, should have gotten more.

I don't see why it wouldn't be. It would probably be a great Saturday to go there to boot. No can release the mule/regular crowd presence should be at a minimum.

Also...lo and behold this batch of ACE is perfect yet again. Almost as if it should be regularly available. How about it, guys?

 

If OH had a cooler constantly stocked with ACE, Space Diamonds, Forever Simcoe, and Hop Showers I'd be a very happy man.

This new batch of Hop Showers is damn fantastic. I made the rookie mistake of starting off the night with a can of Hop Showers. Beer #2 tasted like an unbalanced mess in comparison. It's all downhill from here.

 

Curious as to what Beer #2 was.

Brix City Ill Street Blues. It's a good beer from a decent brewery, but it doesn't live up to the comparison when drank as a chaser to HS.

 

I bought a few 4packs of green city the day they released andoved it. One week later beer was kinda gross. At the 2 week mark now and the downward trend continues. I’ve never had a beer drop off so hard so fast.

Anyone else notice this?

 

Haven’t had cans but it’s always damn good on tap at (enter name of bar here). Maybe it’s one of those beers that should be never drank other than on draft. Is that a thing?

 

I’ve def had some OH and beers in generally that were noticeably better on draft

 

I hope all you vultures didnt deplete the entire stock of HS. I’m heading over today. As someone who helped jump start the HS hype train, I feel highly entitled to always be allowed to buy a few 4 packs. In fact I feel so entitled that I believe it should be delivered directly to me.

Is brewery opening at 10 or 12 today? No release today so thinking 12.
