500 cases gone in under a minute. 10 cases per person was a good idea.......

Yeah definitely NOT a good idea ... just sets up for flippers looking to make max profits ... shame :slight_frown:

Does anyone know how often DDH Ghost will be released going forward?

Pretty sure its going to be a once a year thing. Could be more though now that they're doing regular GITM year round.

Any chance of finding DDH Ghost in the Machine on tap (or bottles) anywhere in New Orleans next week? Or any other beer events going on in the city in the days surrounding Halloween?

I could also bring bottles to trade for a couple bottles of DDH GITM.

DDH Ghost was bottled over a month ago and never saw distro. You should find regular GITM all around town.

I knew that; figured that'd be the case too. Was just hoping that someone popped up in this thread with an extra bottle in NO. I'd be down to pay secondary and some rounds at Avenue Pub or something.. first time visiting the city for me. Cheers!

If it's your first time visiting New Orleans, then stopping by Courtyard Brewery should qualify as a beer event. They have their own great selection of brews, and as an added bonus, if DDH Ghost is on draft anywhere in the city, they're as likely as anyone to have it.

Courtyard wasn't even on my radar.. Thanks for the tip!

Courtyard is amazing and I highly recommend it!

Also, I hate to say it, but you won't find DDH Ghost anywhere unfortunately. Pre-sale sold out in less than one minute, and the line to pick up the rest was between 150-200 deep and it all sold out same day. Also, it wasn't distributed anywhere outside of the brewery. Crowlers you might see were brewery only release also.

No, yeah I was aware of all that... I was just hoping that there might be a Halloween-time event ("Ghost"-theme or something) going on in New Orleans.. it was a shot in the dark. BUT, anyone reading this and has bottles want to meet up?! We can figure out compensation for a bottle!

Does anyone know of a bottle shop along I-70 from Atlanta to Starkville that would have Ghost this weekend? I'm honestly not sure if it's available in that area but would love to pick some up on the way home.

Probably not available. It’s in the south area of miss/ala/fla from what all the posts say.

Looking to find bottles of ghost in late November early December in Nola. Any recommendations on what shops to look at?

Man it is around lurking in unknown places. I found it in North Louisiana this past weekend with 1 month on it, and my niece brought me some from Alexandria from the same batch. I think you will have no issues getting your hands on it. You could probably work out an in person trade with someone if you want to lug some Cali beer out with you.

Had a couple of drafts in Oxford Ms tonight. Probably the most unusual IPA ever... Yes, it looks like a glass of OJ. Head was skimpy & faded fast. Citrus & piney scents, defiinitely IPA, but this beer has a class all its own. Not yeasty or malty, particularly, just a crisp hoppy taste. I will keep looking for more. Worthy of note!

Probably. I’m not touching it. Going to be a good/great beer but I am stocked right now with beer. Plus the sticker price is kinda killing me. I don’t like doing bombers if I can help it.

Going to be in New Orleans 2/6-2/10. Does anyone know if ghost in the machine is around down there on tap? I'm not familiar with their distribution but is there any chance to grab bottles?

GITM is now a year round beer. You'll have zero problem finding bottles & pours.

Yeah but there's so many great boudin places on I-10 you can easily make a full day out of it.
