Anyone attend the Cellar Sale today? I just didn't feel like getting up early on New Years Day with no real specifics on bottles or prices. What time did you get there and were you happy about the selection or not?

4 bottles, but only 1 could be an Eunoia.

All the bottles were posted on Twitter last night and they posted when something sold out. Showed up at 1:15pm and only a couple bottles had sold out, so I was happy.

Anyone have the inside scoop on when or if Ambassadors email will go out? They went out last year around this time, just preparing myself for the disappointment...

We had till 12/30/22 to renew. Assuming it should be soon, but P3 has been pretty quiet on how many renewed or not in our internal Ambassador's group.

For those who signed up for the Ambassador club list in 2019 check your emails, I just got an invite! It is a multi-step deal through Oznr. I am supposed to claim the invite, but Oznr isn't letting me do that. I'll wait a bit and then reach out to P3/oznr if I still can't claim it later.
I was on the lookout for a Pips membership invite which I have not received, but this was a great surprise. Happy New Year indeed!

So, I haven't gotten an email, yet. But I did just open Oznr and see the option to sign up for the membership. I assume this means I'm in? Anyone happen to know the details on cost and what it includes?

I went ahead and claimed it, so I guess I'll find out.

How did you claim it? I see it in my membership area but there is no button to claim?

It is $300 and my invite email gave no details on what is included. Eunoias and Curvatures I imagine...

I added it to my cart (I suppose I could have clicked Buy Now) and "purchased" it for $0. Now it's listed in my memberships area, where I assume it wasn't prior. I didn't check there before claiming/purchasing.

Please see everything included with a 2023 Ambassador Membership. 2023's Membership will cost $300 plus local taxes and fees and include a total of (8) 750ml barrel-aged beers. You will notice that there is no included merch item this year (glass or shirt). As costs have risen the most we have ever seen in our 10+ years working in the brewing industry this past year, we have decided that for 2023, instead of increasing the price for the Ambassador program (we have not raised the price since starting the program in 2020), we are going to instead just remove the merch item. We will adjust as we see fit for future years.

As you all should know by now, we are planning to open our second taproom and kitchen in Elmhurst in 2023. Currently the project timeline has us opening in late Quarter 2 (we’re sure things will change). When this happens we’ll allow bottle/can pickups to happen at either location. We plan to have that ready shortly after we open Elmhurst. Until then, all pickups will still have to be at our Brewery and Taproom in Lake Zurich. Please only renew if you are able to still pick up within your allotted time frame at Lake Zurich taproom for the foreseeable future.

    • Eight (8) 750ml bottle of barrel-aged beer from 4 releases (two bottles per release)* - while historically these beers have all been Eunoia, we may switch things up this year, or may not. But either way we will stick to barrel-aged stout - just FYI.
    • First right to preorder other public releases at our discretion.
    • Seamless membership experience through our partnership with OZNR
    • 10% off all P3 merchandise ie. clothing & glassware (does NOT include beer/alcohol/beverages/food)
    • First right to renew your membership for 2024
    • First right to purchase any Phase Three Brewing ran events throughout the year. We have limited seating capacity. We may sell out of these events internally (within the Ambassadors). We'll do our best to spread it out.
*For this year we are not specifically going to call out the beer as being exclusive to Ambassadors. Just like for 2022, given the current state of the world, it has us in a position that we need some flexibility. We hold a certain amount of bottles back in our cellar to sell for on-site

offerings. If we aren’t allowed to open our taproom for on-premise seating, for any reason, we will be put in a position to sell bottles for off-prem. While we don’t plan on doing that, we just want to reserve the right to do so and want to be open and up front about that with you now. We also have a few off-site events happening at our friends’ businesses, ie. beer dinners that may/may not include beer. Being that we sell the beer to them and they sell it at their business, we cannot control how and who they sell to. Please understand that they have their own loyal customers or memberships. We hope you understand.

*We plan to do cellar sales in the years to come depending on how quickly or slowly we move through bottles in our cellar. Expect to see bottles available to the public randomly in the future. Likely at least one year after it's initial release.

Fine Print - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

    • To start off, we will NOT allow proxies. This is subject to change at our discretion. Why? First and foremost our goal is to take care of our fans who are local to us. It’s important to us that our Ambassadors are not just here for the barrel-aged beers, but also to help keep our taproom viable for our team members that rely on it. While we appreciate you supporting us through the Ambassadorship, our team needs regular support from people who buy our beer, regularly or semi-regularly. As we grow our membership, we reserve the right to modify this aspect of our membership program. Please, please please, do not email us asking to make an exception to this. It seriously bogs us down and has an impact on our overall efficiency around here and we've made it very clear it's not allowed.

      • tl;dr: In order to pick up any beer purchased through the membership program outlined here on this page, the member must be present with a valid ID matching the name entered on their membership registration.

      • All publicly released bottles/cans must be picked up within two weeks of its release. Failure to do so will be a forfeiture of said bottle(s)/can(s) and no refunds will be given. Any money collected will be donated to a local charity.

      • All ambassador-exclusive bottles must be picked up within four weeks of release date. Failure to do so will be a forfeiture of said bottle(s)/can(s) and no refunds will be given. Any money collected will be donated to a local charity. We have a big cooler, but it fills up fast with cellar bottles, hops, and lots and lots of canned beer that goes out to our retail accounts. We can’t hold on to member bottles potentially up to an entire year - sorry - so please only sign up to be an Ambassador if this works for you and your schedule.
    • Because there are inherently uncontrollable variables when producing beer, we reserve the right to modify and/or remove any of the beers outlined above. If for any reason we have to remove a beer we will refund the msrp value on that (those) specific beer(s) to the member or re-release that beer or a replacement at a later date. This will be communicated to everyone and done in a fair way.

    • We do not condone the resale of our beer. If you do it and we see it, we will cancel your membership and refund your remaining bottles at their msrp - if we boot an Ambassador, it’s because we know it happened, we won't debate it. Trading beer is fun and is a good way to meet new beer drinking friends. Selling our beer on the secondary market is illegal and is rude to all other members or people who would love to be members, so just don’t do it.

    • Members can only have one membership. One membership per name.

    • You must be at least 21 years of age to become a P3 Ambassador. By registering you agree to this. IDs will be required to pick up any/all beer from us during the year.

    • Reserved bottles/cans will be available for pick up 7 days a week. Current hours (subject to change) Mon-Weds 3pm-8pm, Thurs-Friday 3pm-9pm, Sat 11am-9pm and Sun 11am-7pm and can change at our discretion or the discretion of our local, state and federal governments.

    • All pickups must be done within a scheduled time frame that will be given when we announce that specific release

    • Memberships are non-transferable. The name who registers to become an Ambassador is it. No exceptions.

    • We will not ship beer.

    • Memberships are valid from January 1, 2023 - December 31, 2023

    • We reserve the right to cancel and remove a member for any reason. We don’t plan on doing this, but just a fair warning to just be cool - seriously, just be cool.

    • Membership support can be contacted at p3ambassadors@phasethreebrewing.com

For those that got the invite (congrats ), what date did you get the initial waitlist confirmation email ("Thank you for your submission" email) back in 2019? Just trying to see how far off I am on the waitlist. I got my confirmation email on 12/18/19.

I recall the initial cutoff came down to the time one signed up on the website when it was made available. Something like 7:58:35 pm (just making up a cutoff time as an example) or exacting like this. There may still be folks from that initial day (looking through an old thread seems it was 14 Dec 2019) on the waitlist.

I got this email from P3 after I emailed asking what the hell was going on with OZNR.

Well that didn’t go quite as planned. Sorry for dangling the carrot, but there was an error with OZNR that accidentally made membership invites intended for you publicly available from 11:30am to 12:30pm. We had to close it temporarily to figure out what went wrong.

The good news is we received a bit of clarification from OZNR that many of you had already reached out asking for. If you already have this email tied to an OZNR account all you need to do is check your memberships. If P3 Ambassador 2023(New Member) is in there you have no need to claim your RSVP it is already done!

Please wait while we give those who do not have an account tied their email the time to claim their offer before we send the real offer. P3 Ambassador 2023(Actual).

Thank you, and we are extremely excited to have you as a member!

I see P3 in my memberships now and I didn't do anything.

I finally got an email, but it was of the "we're sorry" variety. Turns out me getting the option to "purchase" a membership in Oznr was a mistake, and I'm actually not at/near the top of the list and eligible to join the Ambassadors this year.

Seriously. Rev since '19 has stolen the show for me. I go to P3 for pours but rarely miss not having a bottle. An email invite to membership would give me a real pause and thought, because while I like a lot of the beers just fine the expense of having and "needing" a year's worth of P3 releases in bottles would be a real question mark.

Yeah, interesting they are making Curvature their distro stout brand, but the change to a smaller format is always welcome. I’m hoping they aren’t looking to charge full BA prices for these half and half BA blends but the cynic in me will not be surprised if they do.

If we're honest here, most Eunoia variants don't have much barrel presence, so it makes sense to just blend it anyway. More yield, same base flavors and adjuncts.

I'd love to have Affinity be heavy adjunct-focused so that Eunoia can focus on less adjuncts and more barrel, otherwise it seems like a waste.

I've only tried a few of the Eunoia beers but I could never quite pick up on any significant barrel presence. It's only after having Curvature beers that I could tell the adjuncts are more pronounced in them versus Eunoia, so maybe the barrel treatment is 'balancing' the adjuncts in Eunoia a bit but the barrel is still muted for the most part?
