Yeah he's fine. Thanks for asking. He's getting old and gets them every few months but my wife still freaks out every time. Pretty scary actually. We even have a rectal dose of Valium we keep on hand for "the seizures ". But better to have a dog and a wife than beers. (Maybe)

Not even close. I'd trade one of the bombers 1:1 with fo, but nothing as rare or great as black magick or man bear pig. Fo is getting released again soon. Mbp is first time ever and limited, and black magick is 2nd time in 3 years

Not a fucking prayer. I don't think I'd even do 1:1 for a Black Magick. I'd do 1+:1 on the CCCBBVD simply because I don't love fruited stouts but nothing more. He's out of his fucking mind. Sadly someone will do it.

Fundamental Observation from a Cali brewery called Bottle Logic. I believe it was 6 per person when it was first released last June, and I've read that a new release is coming up pretty soon.

As Mike said, it's a BA vanilla stout aged in Heaven Hill, Four Roses, and Buffalo Trace barrels. 500 ml bottles.

 

With no comments allowed on trades the amount of laughable trade offers are going to be sky high. Actually haven't seen one yet that wasn't completely off

Thanks for the considerate offer. But the stars aligned for me tonight. I was supposed to work 5-9pm doing chinese and sushi delivery (not my main job, just beer money job) and when I walked in my boss is on the phone with Verizon, "Why no phones work?" After 2 hours of no calls coming in or out, boss told me to go home. To which point I made a B-line to Voodoo. Cant wait for leap year day again, my luckiest day ever!

Like to me, BCBS, Hawaiian Speedway, and after last weekend, Nut Smasher are the best I've had.

 

My Bruery guy in LA missed the FO bottles by like 10 minutes on the last release. I still give him shit about it every chance I get.

 

Both. I'd say the last black Magick was one of the best beers ever made and is still one of the most sought after beers

 

I've never had it. I've read comments online from people who have drank it and the majority of them have compared it favorably to Bourbon County Vanilla Rye, which is one of the best stouts I've had in recent times. I'm sure it's delicious, but it's one of those beers that commands multiple bottles of high end stuff where you only get one bottle in return, which is something I never do. I feel like this is definitely an instance where having a regular trading partner out that way would be the only way I could snag one of these.

No one else is I bet, but I am super excited for the Quadfather. I think that has potential to be the sleeper in this set!

 

I'm honestly really excited for all of them.

 

Just remember how the last set traded. For you guys sake, I'm a Pennsylvanian after all, I hope they are home runs but some of those beers are world class proven.
