Thanks, we try to do as much as we can for you guys!
Picksomeupformebro? It's so good
The super juicy juju is delicious!
did you see if barrel aged battle axe is still on tap? love that beer and would like to grab a glass
BA Battle Axe wasn't on tap. Super Juicy was more than a great substitute though.
I'll be in line at Voodoo as well earlier than I'd prefer.
I'll be in line waiting for these
Or maybe these
You have to wait in line for cupcakes coming from your own home? Your wife is a harsh task master.
You've never had these cupcakes
True, true. I'm sure they're amazing, but I can't even be bothered to drive to the south hills from the north hills... Let alone to Meadville. I'm not Magellan.
She won't even let me lick the frosting off the beater unless I have a ticket
So Old Jive on Tap at homestead and just browsing untappd, seem like people are digging it....wasn't their just a convo in here how it sucked?
Never said it sucked. Look at the reviews on ba. Most under 4, and all say it's thin with little barrel characteristics.
I thought the opposite on the barrel. To me it was super barrel heavy. Tons of Wild Turkey.
I thought it was too thick but had the perfect amount of barrel
You guys the three fucking bears?
Trolldilocks and the Three Barrels
Stopped by on Wednesday to try it and grab a bottle of bourbon maple syrup and honey which I had been meaning to pick up for a while now. Figure spending that money mid-week will keep the Saturday tab just a little bit lower.
Thought Jive was a very nice beer. Plenty of bourbon without being overpowering. Plenty of malt support. Never abrasive from alcohol heat. Body was on the lighter side to me, but not quite thin. Never came across as watered down bourbon which is what I usually associate with barrel aged beers that are too thin in body.
I never had it during the last release though so not too much to compare.
10:30am...time for growler jokes and line updates...
Looking forward to some real manbearpig sightings, that beer sounds like perfection
Just realized I'm a day early, maybe I drank too much last night
Never understood why, instead of just eating the warm soup, she didn't mix the too hot and too cold soups, so she could like, have a bunch of warm soup.
I stopped trying to understand girls/women a long time ago.

Planning on checking out our BRC IV Release Party tomorrow? Here's what were tapping and in what quantity tomorrow when we open at 11AM. It is impossible for us to say how long things will last, so please don't ask. Good rule of thumb- if it's smaller than a 50L, it won't last long. Last release 50s lasted most of the day, if not the whole day.
Gran Met aged in Apple Brandy Barrels- 50L
Chocolate Covered Cherry Big Black Voodoo Daddy aged in Bourbon Barrels- 50L
Quadfather aged in Cabernet Sauvignon Barrels- 1/6bbl
Black Magick aged in Rye Whiskey Barrels- 1/6bbl
Gran Met aged in Apple Brandy Barrels and aged on Madagascar Vanilla Beans and Cinnamon (cask)- 5gal
What size will the pours be?
Off topic slightly but I have a seven 12 bottle shippers I need to get rid of. If anyone is interested I could bring them to the Voodoo Homestead release tomorrow as I will be there at opening. BM me if interested. They are free.
I'll be there too! I'm the white guy with a beard and a hoody, probably nursing a pbr. Come say hi!
I will be there as well. White, unshaven, hauling a baby, I might even wear my Cantillon shirt. I am sure I can be easily ID'd, come say Hi!
let me know if its any good, or just flavored water?
Bc she's a woman
I'll be in meadville slinging these
We sampled them tonight and all the Homers gave them 5s
Really wish the Pittsburgh location would replicate Cleveland's version of the beer menu online. Date (which PGH used to do) and growler prices shown
http://fatheadscleveland.com/Fat Heads On Tap.pdf
Haven't sat down at that location in a bit, does Cleveland still have the multiple page and color beer menu? Shit's gotta be expensive to print. Too busy for me; prefer the simple Pittsburgh version, but agree that growler pricing would be a nice addition.
