Thanks. Good to hear about the prices. When I hear a place described as "gastropub" I can literally hear the money fly out of my wallet...

I'll take a shot. The difference in the greatest IPAs out there and the best local IPAs is so marginal that paying for shipping of IPAs is silly. I just had Hill Farmstead Susan today at Pizza Boy and while I'd consider it perhaps their weakest hoppy offering I'd much rather have a Murren River and/or West Shore IPA by Pizza Boy. At least the newest iterations of both hoppy beers.

Wow, that's high praise. I will definitely be adding a stop at BG after Voodoo Homestead next weekend. Place looks great!

Never had AB Gran Met but I'm a big fan of the regular version. I'd love to try the AB version though, for science.

Nut smasher release at the end of the month -2/28. Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 1pm. Nice little road trip for a really underated beer.

Allegheny Coffee & Tea Exchange. Usually go to La Prima, but we were parked just across from this place and the kids were...less than cooperative, so I ducked in to my surprise. Will go back. They even had half growlers, which seems a bit much, even to a guy who drinks like five cups a day.

never had anything from this brewery, including nut smasher but it looks like an easy ride and good price for the beer. this is pretty tempting

their Peanut Butter is amazing. Every time I go up that way, I have to get a crowler to go.

Great place, and good food even

Haven't had either of those but highly recommend Hop Farm's Fresh Pot of Porter. I was not convinced until I spoke with one of the bartenders that they didn't just pour me a carbonated coffee.

Struck out on Hopslam at WF Wex yesterday, and MD Rob was sold out this morning as well. If anyone got a whole case that might be willing to part with a few, I'm interested.

Had Persica at Pipers last night and thought it was actually a pretty enjoyable single IPA. Went directly to the source after that and had more Mammoth and the latest edition of MoMo, which seemed better than the first release. After having CPA and MoMo recently on (I think) their 2nd editions, those single hop pales they are doing are hitting on all cylinders. And I'm usually not even that big of a fan of single hop PAs.

Unfortunately, missed out on the Triple IPA, I guess it kicked early yesterday.
