Today, it's very mild though grey, still very fine for a january day--and both cats Gracie and Sundae looked forward to checking out the day's new beers with me. Since it's Wednesday (along with Sundays and Saturdays), I do a fourth beer, provided it's light and that I can of course do it responsibly lol. I like to make sure, each day, that I have a different set of beers--so today is no different, with an IPA, a saison, a pilsner, and a brown ale: First, with Gracie, it's my twelfth brew from nearby Tecumseh, Ontario's Frank Brewing Co.--their 6.5% She's a Spicy Peach IPA... Next, with Sundae, it's my sixth beer from Sundbyberg, Sweden's Omnipollo--their 4.7% Omnipollos Flora Italian-Style Pilsner... More of today's beer thoughts in a moment! Cheers, from McGregor! =)
Third, also with Sundae, it's my seventeenth brew from Toronto, Ontario's Halo Brewery--their 6.4% Tokyo Rose Brett Saison with Rose Hips... Finally, again with Gracie, it's my seventh beer from Kenora, Ontario's Lake of the Woods Brewing Company--their 4.75% Firehouse Pub Style Brown Ale... Tomorrow: Three more new beers to contemplate, from the following breweries: --Lake of Bays Brewing Company (Baysville, Ontario; my tenth of their handiworks); --Nickel Brook Brewing Co. (Burlington, Ontario; my fourteenth); and --Nita Beer Company (Ottawa, Ontario; my fifth)... Have a great rest of your day, and cheers...from The Responsible Beer Drinking Club! =)
As a matter of fact, no Went to a game last year and I thought the old stadium was really nice, it got refurbished about 8 years ago, What ever , too rich and busy for me!
Today, it's warm and beautiful, out here in McGregor--and both cats Gracie and Sundae were very happy to help me check out the new beers of the day. For today, I've curated a New England (or Hazy) IPA, a blonde ale, and a stout--so it's a good mix for an unseasonably warm (though I'm not complaining, mind you) January day: First, with Sundae, my tenth beer from Lake of Bays Brewing Company, from Baysville, Ontario--their 6.5% Bow Echo Hazy IPA... Next, with Gracie, it's my fourteenth beer from Nickel Brook Brewing Co., from Burlington, Ontario--the 4.7% Cause & Effect Steady Blonde Ale (it's 4/5, or 80%, in my books)... More of today's beer thoughts soon! Cheers, from McGregor! =)
Finally, again with Sundae, it's my fifth exemplar from Ottawa, Ontario's Nita Beer Co.--their 5% Perfectum Stout... The three beers are also shown bookending the must-see films (Science Fiction & Fantasy section) Naked Lunch (David Cronenberg, 1991) and Jurassic Park (Steven Spielberg, 1993)... Tomorrow: Three more new beer considerations, from the following breweries: --Left Field Brewery (Toronto, Ontario; my eleventh of their wares); --Orleans Brewing Company (Orleans, Ontario; my eighth); and --Rorschach Brewing Co. (Toronto, Ontario; my twelfth)... Have a great rest of your day, and cheers...from The Responsible Beer Drinking Club! =)

Both cats Gracie and Sundae looked forward to helping me investigate last Friday's three new brews: First, with Gracie, it's my eleventh beer from Toronto, Ontario's Left Field Brewery--their 6% Crushed! Passionfruit IPA... Next, with Sundae, it's my eighth handiwork from Orleans, Ontario's Orleans Brewing Company--their 6.4% Buffalo Soldier Chocolate Milk Stout... More thoughts--all about beer and cats--from last weekend, momentarily! Cheers, from McGregor! =)
