Lovely treats! What is the growler with the star handle?
This has been on San Diego Craigslist for months. I mean, who wouldn't want 2 pallets of PBR aged to perfection in a metal storage shed in the height of Summer?
I picked these up today
The growler is from www.uncommongoods.com. BrewDog uses the same ceramic growler, but it is a fortune so I was pleased with the unbranded version.
Only one store in town has it and it was still in the stock room so I guess I'm first.
Latest pick up from Bevmo, nothing special. But I love the Capp stout from lagunitas!
Last sixer on Wegman's shelves this afternoon, don't mind if I do
Big old thanks to Hugonaut13 for these:
East End Misspelt Saison
East End First Session Ale
East End Snow Melt
Firestone Walker Double Jack (In Victory Growler)
Founders Curmedgeon's Better Half
Here are a few recent hauls:
ohh la la.
My share of a recent trip to RR
Row 2 Hill 56 in the growler
I didn't even have to click on your profile and I knew you were from NY....
Agreed. And it was under $10.
No Cherry in Chicagoland, tons in NY.
But then again all of us Chicago BA's chase the ABInBev trucks.
Six pack of one of my favorite beers.
I was lucky to get a bottle of Pugachev's Cobra
I picked up my bottles at Alesmith over the holidays and the growler is SSR
I have work to do.
ordered from halftime, and it couldnt have been packaged any worse, one bottle of nightstalker, and a handful of great lakes xmas beers broke. thankfully none of the bcbs bottles broke, ive never tried it and looking forward to it
I've never had a problem with halftime. I have also never seen any of the beers on the left on halftime either. Nor have I seen dusty Troegs in a Narwhal holder.
thats how halftime boxed them up. no problem, if theres a top half to the packaging to keep the bottles in place. but what youre looking at is how they shipped them. they didnt even bubble wrap the 2 night stalkers individually, they wrapped both in the same wrap, and theres whats left of one of them
Sorry meant, on the RIGHT. and yea, ouch, they F-ed up your box. Did you get a refund or reshipment?
havent contacted them yet. the deschutes brews i stumbled upon last week while getting some wine for holiday dinner. a hole in the wall store had at least a case of each just sitting there, so i grabbed a handful.
This is what a quick stop at a NH border beer store got me. They had a bunch of Bolt Cutter for $17 per, and also a pile of Goose Island Madame Rose (which about 1/2 hour from the store on the way home I wished I would have purchased some...).
A couple trades before the holidays:
And a haul of local stuff I gathered over a couple days:
"On the Edge" are saisons made in Norfolk. Brilliant!
Dolle and a few other treats
I gotta ask, because some of these hauls are just nuts. But how much do you guys fucking spend on beer lol?
I thought I spent a lot. I drop maybe 50 a week.
and yes, this is jealousy speaking.
I spend between $50 and $400 a week, depending on what is out there. When I spend large amounts it usually isn't for quantity - it's on expensive $30 beers from AleSmith and The Bruery.
I have said the same thing many times myself.
I suspect some of these hauls are being split at least 2 ways imo or are partly personal consumption & partly for trading purposes.
If you've got the money and that's your thing, more power to you!
Huge thanks to tofuspeedstar for killing me in this trade.
And these are the extras. Not pictured is a New Glarus Thumbprint Saison which I forgot to put in the picture.
Needless to say, will trade with again
My last haul which was on page 201 or 202 cost me around 200 euros. That supply will last me until May to go along with what else I have. I am drinking more Belgians while I live in Europe. The case of Rochefort 8 cost only 30.96 euro or 1.29 euro per bottle. I will never find it that cheap again. The Loons cost between 6 and 9 euro per bottle. Got to take advantage of it while I can.
I will need another rack of Weihenstephan in the next 2 weeks so that will be another $20. I check the class 6 on base every week for something new from the states. It maybe gets something once a month I want to buy a 6 or 12 of.
2 - 4 Packs White Oak Aged Jai Alai
4 - Bourbon Barrel Aged Big Sound
1qt Growler - Invasion Pale Ale
1qt Growler - CCB Cider
Not a haul but its Six new beers that I have not tried before , in the wastelands that Im in this is good
This was my last haul, it was upwards of $80 and I was a bit taken back. One of the bottles of Divine Retribution is headed to Chicago this weekend for a friend of mine.
On the 2 posts/"hauls" I did today, I spent probably £160, however now I have enough beer for a few months so I don't need to get anymore until maybe March. (I also have some Cantillon in the post though, couldn't resist a Mamouche )
Most recent trade with Rolandboy, zombie dust is amazing
Posted same pic twice..lol. But glad everything made it.
I just noticed that. Damn. Here are the extras.
