An hour ago the tiny post office lady knocked on my door and had this beast in her cart. I had to walk to her shopping cart to lift it.

Inside (The Sucks was not from Belgium, but direly needed for physical exertion of opening box)

Then I wanted to see how wax looks on the pertruded Loon bottles. They look funny, don't try this at home...

That's a haul. Pushing $500 worth. And, a small and dedicated army with a common vision (to get over the 1 case limit @ The Alchemist)...Or, you came back multiple times. Though, Phil @ Hill Farmstead will usually call you out on that.

Not only is it an impressive haul, but if 1 person (even 2) could pull all of that off, it would be miraculous due to: a) limit setting. B) finding that much available in 1 location (ex. Lawson's).

    Well played WickedGoodBBQ.

    Too bad

If it wasn't going to be "hell freezes over cold" here for until who knows when, I'd love to work on that White Oak.
I'm sure you'll find something to do with it...I know I'd like to drink it!...someday

I think the Alchemist limit is up to 2 cases per person now, and soon to be more as they increase their production in February.

I'm more interested in the Lawson's finds - was it a Farmer's market haul or from store shelves? Great work either way!

As of last week, the limit was 1 case - but they may have changed it back to 2. Production has alteady increased but another week or two before there's more cases available (28 days end-to-end I believe). Extra capacity will allow John to do 30bbl brews of some of the Alchemist's other brews - which will be available for growler fills...Nice to live local ;-)

Lawson's recent weekly store releases have been Paradise, Red Spruce Bitter, and Jade (a couple of week's ago), Kiwi (6 weeks ago, this week).

I should post a picture, but today I was able to score: 2 Kiwi (limit was 2), 4 Fayston Maple Imperial Maple Aged (limit4), 4 Fayston Maple Imperial Bourbon Aged (limit 4) and 2 Chinoork'd (limit was 4). Overall, the limit was 12 per person. Had to pass on Paradise, Hard Cider, Maple Nipple (sad about having to choose)and the 2 "extra" Chinookrd's.

Double Sunshine coming in February.....Triple Play upcoming too.
