The DFH and Mad Elf (all 2012) were purchased in a Mix a Six for $4.99 along with seven other beers that I already drank and are not pictured (Stone, Troegs and Great Divide stuff). [These beers were mixed in with a lot of garbage beers, so I just segregated them and gathered up twelve of the best for myself - and giggled all the way home. Nice!] The SN Glass was a gift from my favorite bartender on Valentines Day. She's awesome.

Stumbled into this. Thought my usual place wouldn't be getting any. Dropped in on a normal visit and figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. Boom, one bottle limit--no formal announcement on FB and sales only to their regulars. I'll be splitting it with my father.

I also got some more Sucks and Heavy Seas Black Noire.

Took a trip out to PA for the day. Checked out Weyerbacher, got a case of tasty beer, had insanity with a cherry/vanilla treatment from a cask at a local bar, and hit up Wegmans for the rest of the Haul on the way out of town. A good beer day.

Girlfriend has family near Media, PA; so I like to stop by Pinocchio's while we're up there and stock up on stuff I can't find in DE/MD. Not a huge haul, but I'm pretty psyched about it. Palate Wrecker is the only one I've had before, and it's high in the running for my favorite beer.

Cant post a picture but in the last couple of days I picked up two 4 packs of Bourbon County, a 4 pack of Nawhal, 4 pack of founders imperial stout, red rye and coffee stout, 6 pack of ipswich oatmeal stout, a case of sucks (some will be a gift for a friend), 2 4 packs of bigfoot, 4 pack of ten fidy, and a six pack of smuttynose robust porter. Have had all of these except the BCS, and loved them all. Hope the BCS is good for the price.

Love smuttynose they make such great beers at a low price.

Spent 36 hours in Chicago, couldn't really leave downtown, didn't have a car, and only brought a pretty full backpack as far as luggage. Well...I ended up stopping at a thrift store and picking up a new piece of luggage. Managed to bring these home with me:

Shout-out to mishuggah for tipping me off to a little stash of BCBS! Felt good to pick those up off the shelf. Killed me though when the guy behind the counter mentioned having a stash of Gumball Head in back if I wanted some and knowing that I didn't have enough room left for a single bottle.

    Here's the rundown:
    4x Boulevard Tank 7
    8x GI BCBS
    6x FFF Robert the Bruce
    4x Central Waters Peruvian Morning
1x Half Acre Double Daisy Cutter
3x Half Acre Daisy Cutter (couldn't resist drinking one at the hotel)
1x Pipeworks Blood of the Unicorn
    1x New Belgium La Folie
1x Mikkeller Single Hop Citra (fresh!)
5x Mikkeller Yeast Series (one of each, and fresh!)
    2x Firestone Walker Sucaba
    2x generic mini-snifters

All picked up from the downtown Whole Foods, Binny's Grand, Binny's Lincoln Park and a weird far out NW liquor store. The only things I have had before are a single bottle of BCBS from a trade and some Tank 7 ages ago on a trip. Needless to say, I'm excited! Already planning a "tasting" with friends this coming weekend. I'll be supplying all the bottles!

So, when faced with the dilemma of choosing which quality beer to fit in a limited amount of space, you opted to purchase a disposable receptacle with which to increase capacity at the risk of convenience and comfort? That, sir, is dedication. /salute

$16 for a 22oz bottle? No thanks, I'll take the growler instead.
