Ohhh if only California had more artisinal cheese readily available. Happy cows come from California is what they tell me... but apparently those happy cows only make Chedder haha.
You should of stopped at Bruno's right in downtown L.G, Heck even the Walmart there now has a full line up of New Glarus Products And since you went through Kenosha, you should of stopped at Woodman's.
Nice haul buddy!!! Which HF growlers did you end up with? I look forward to heading up to that area someday...
I wanted to do Woodman's however the gf wanted to hit up the outlet mall and the Cheese Castle was all she would indulge me. She doesn't get my fascination of craft beer
send me a message of what you would want and I'm sure next time I take a trip over the border, which will be soon, I can arrange that for you. Do they get any Pliny out in the rockies?
Small bottle-less haul this morning. I love getting packages at the office!

Okay it's not KtG, but Royal Impy Stout is one smooth and immensely drinkable beer!
Is this new? Never heard of this one.
Recent haul from the Valley of the Sun
Yes, new head brewer, new imperial stout. It's quite delicious, picked up 8 bottles myself.
Great box from a friend I trustee for on the east coast. Part trade/part thank you box.
I have one each of the regular versions..if those are as good as I'm expecting I can't imagine how good yours are!
Nice, I might have to hit the ISO/FT forum soon.
Stocked up on one of my favorite seasonal releases along with its variation and an added treat.
ah, a local!!!!!
Thanks for the heads up. I looked it up and swear I saw '05, but that must've been draft reviews and such. The guy who sent it to me didn't even know what year it was, but the bottle is stamped "05" at the base, which I understand is the only way to tell. So odd to see such a beer with a twist-off cap, too.
Ya they did twist offs for the first couple of years I think. weird that it said 05 on it, I can't explain that one.
Stopped by my local bottle shop:
Well, the stamping is when the bottle was made, so given it's released in spring, it makes sense that they might have bottles made in 2005 being used for the beer. Recently had an '07 or '08 bottle (again, stamped "07") and it was also a twist-off. Held up quite well, too.
