just got a long time want in the mail from a great BA'er up north!
Sweet box, does the beer come in that or is that from the shipper?
the beer comes in it along with 2 wooden coasters, a signed letter, and a piece of the barrel.
heres a picture of the front:
Spontaneous trip to the shop yielded these.

the bottom was busting out of the box! sent by Arsenal_MC according to him he's a fairly new trader...couldnt tell one bit when i opened this box
original agreement was small and simple
everything else was just him being an awesome BA and a highly recommended trader!!

First time posting here (although I've had many great trades). This photo commemorates an epic trade with Shrode21 that started off a little rough--leakage on my side, breakage and FedEx delivery exception on his first shipment (100% FedEx's fault, this guy packs like a motherf'r). Anyway, after box returns and shipping delays, here's how he makes good:
Zombie Dust x12
Arctic Panzer Wolf
Rye of the Tiger
Crooked Tree IPA
DFH Palo Santo Marron
Tyranena The Devil Made Me Do It!
FFF nonic glass
Thanks, my man, for your patience, generosity, and awesomeness.
Do not hesitate to trade with him!
NEBCO Supernaut growler and Maine Brewing bottles. Cheers!
She's a keeper.
I tried the Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale last night. I rated it a 3.21 overall. I was not overly impressed. It wasn't bad by any means, but it just struck me as another sweet brew, but with a bit of Bourbon nose (I don't go much for the sweet brews. Give me an IPA or Pilsner any day). It wasn't even an interesting sweet like caramel, or licorice. Just sweet. Frankly, I liked Narragansett Bock more - just to compare it to another sweet brew (being originally from RI I have a natural tendency to think of Narry as our local swill. But it's actually much better than that).
WI beer run + Cascade box in mail = Winning! No 20th Anniversary NG = Losing!
Oh yeah, it's going to be a great weekend!
I felt pretty much the same way, but a little more harsh. I just felt bad when I saw the pick up, as more people than not named it one of the worst BA beers in a thread I was reading.
Find an overly bitter beer and blen, maybe you'll make magic!
I waited months to get my hands on this.
