What site are you using?
Let's not be so hard on him. It's 7+ cases of a DIPA. Of course not all of it is for him. It's common sense. Unless he's Green Giant or just trying to get hop slammed. He's being a good friend and trying to hook some people up. No need to attack.
Surely you can understand peoples frustration though, I hope? I went to most of my go to stores and was only able to get 2 cans, unless I would pay $23 a sixer. I was able to pop into bells and get a pour on Saturday, and with so many DIPAs that are close to it I found myself wondering why I felt the need to chase it. Especially since it was easy to find the last 3 years.
So many solid hauls here!
I understand why everyone is upset and jumps to rash conclusions. Most stores by me were the same way. I saw on a forum here on BA that the Meijer in Ann Arbor (Jackson Rd) received it's second wave of over 100 cases. I decided to take the 45min drive to get some. I gave some friends a heads up that I was going and they asked for me to help them out! When I got there they had easily 80+ cases. They are the #1 store in sales for Bells & Rave (the distributor) in the county. Not to mention they are right down the road from Rave. Form what I hear, they will be getting even more too.
What site has Pseudo Sue?
Online order from where?
My "deserted on an island" beer!!! Bounty of Swishhhhhhh....
Just a few odds and ends to cellar
Got a package today from @jhartley Thanks again.
Can't wait to crush these Louisiana goodies !
Small box in today
Small but I'll take it.
My first BA trade! This mini-haul might not consist of heavy hitters to some, but I'm super hyped to report it was a successful one!
Nice local pick up today!
Jackie Os BA Dark Apparition x4
Madtree Axis Mundi x2
Just a little haul but some good treats nonetheless!
Ho. Lee. Shee. Hit.
RE: This Hopslam arguement.
yo its not like the dude works at a liquor store and bought their whole allotment before they hit the shelves. He obviously put in work to find all those cases. Some salty people on this site for real.
Hehe thanks for the tip...hope they don't get overwhelmed as badly as I think they are about to (I maaaay have just piled on).
I remember stumbling in there once after I had played a show in Iowa City and expected nothing of it, then almost barfing when I saw how extensive their selection was. Awesome place.
I think I have a problem. Not a drinking one, mind you.
I think I'm actually most excited about the Barrel Aged Bomb. I hate but respect the one per customer rule at my local.
Also, managed to track down an extremely rare retail Parabola. Still haven't found a Rye Abyss...
My friend traveling to Colorado offered to pick me up some beer on his road trip. I gave him $40 and got probably $60 worth of beer back.
A bit more by my reckoning, that Dry Dock Quad was $20 alone. Enjoy!
I certainly will. My friend and I have a Quad tasting planned with the Boulevard BBA Quad 2014 and 2015.
We get Oskar Blues where I live, but I've been wanting to try Pinner and DPA is one of my go to beers.
I was a little disappointed in the Mycaenary I need to check the bottling date, but it just didn't pop with a lot of flavor for me.
The Tommyknocker was pretty good, but I'm going to let 2 of them sit and start building a vertical.
An online order just arrived
You do realize that we get New Belgium, Ballast Point, Dieu du Ciel!, Bear Republic and Stone in SC, right? And all those are very common shelf beers.
Yes, I wanted to fill the box with things I was looking for, even though they are distributed here.
That Imperial Cabinet is one fantastic brew!
Picked these up the last few days.
Christmas present from my stepdad arrived a little late this year but I think was worth the wait
