This is actually yesterday's haul, looking forward to those BA beers from Estonia. Also, those London beer factory cans have that cool opening mechanism where the whole top comes off, never seen that from a UK brewer.

Went to winking Lizard for the Duvel glass, but there was a lizardville inside, so I got a mix six and the Bruery beer I missed last year. Will return.

And this is today's haul, with some more traditional fare, although I will be trading all of those and then some away for some of that sweet UK craft nectar that has all but vanished from my reach.

Really liked the Hop Butcher / Revolution collaboration beers Base and Superstructure, hope they were refrigerated.

Picked these up last week, planned on posting this week with another release but the brewery didn't issue their annual WCIPA release.

Didn't let the sun go down on what apparently is an annual clearance sale at the Walgreens which gets the biggest Bourbon County Stout allotment each year. Didn't get there in time for $3 regular bottles, but picked up a dozen 2019 variants at $5 each. Final tally six Cafe de Olla, and three each of Wheatwine and Mon Cheri.

Hoping to return to this thread tomorrow with a case plus of Beachwood offerings plus others.

The whole top opening looks cool, but it’s a bitch to pour from, especially into a narrow glass. The Glen Noble interesting, but a sour with coffee? Hard pass on that one!

Khourey’s has some great sales now on some older bottles on styles like this and stouts which hold up well. I don’t see Chicago stores do this often, beyond non beer stores like Jewel or Walgreens.

Thanks, didn’t want to be caught without lambics before returning. Like introducing my brother to new styles, as he usually sticks to Hazy NEIPAs year round, and stouts in cooler weather.

I drank a 2016 bottle last summer, and it turned out to be one of my highest rated beers. That bottle did have a different label (purchased at Beer on the Wall) but it did have a best by date of August 2019.

Hope this one still is solid, it’s one of my highest rated beers here (4.6), and the highest positive standard deviation of my posted ratings.
