Is that a new BA release?

 

Yup, #62, the latest in their barrel-aged series. I'm intrigued to see it in a four-pack, given how expensive they usually are. Hopefully this will be a decent enough price and quantity to turn around their BA distribution here, since we've had the same ones on the shelves for 3+ years, and nothing new. I was in Breckenridge, CO recently and was surprised that I couldn't find any Avery BA series.

 

Reportedly it's $20/pack and outstanding.

Also, fuck Ramirez liquor store here in East LA for tryina capitalize on Avery and sell singles for $10
They pulled all the four packs apart! Not one pack in the whole store. Morons...all their Avery stock has been the same for 6 years

 

I've been trying to drink my stash down a bit...in may and june I drank 106 beers and only bought 7! So here's my first decent haul(s) in a couple months

I'd been wanting to try these fruited sours for a while so I picked up a few on MBC..I've had a couple..they're good...not seen here is the Untiled Art blackberry pie which I drank Thursday...I really liked it



Up next, a stop @ Epic to restock ipa's (those will last me a month) and an MBC purchase I'm real excited about...Revolution Grave Digger Billy BA scotch ale. I'm a sucker for scotch ales so when I saw this, there was no question it had to be mine

A little backstory behind this:
A while back i had posted an ISO in the Best Thread Ever on here : The Imperial Stout Appreciation thread for any beers posted by user ZebulonZogg, i only typed his name as Zebulon,as he doesn't trade anymore .
Two weeks or pass and i see a message pop up in my inbox and it's from @arizcards saying that he could probably help me with my ISO because he lives near Zebulon Brewing . I told him that i meant it was ZebulonZogg and not ZebulinBrewing, i had never even heard of them up until then.
And look at what came of it! His first trade ever and a box of some great beer at each of our doorsteps!!

Had another case delivered from Kern yesterday, and grabbed the toasted rice lager during my weekly grocery run...

 

Can you expand on that statement, any pics?

 

First haul from my Revolution Brewery season ticket. Four packs of Thundertaker, Lumberstruck and Coconut Deth paid for on the bottom. Sun Crusher and Gravedigger Billy, which I missed buying while out West last Winter, we’re on the house. Hope I won’t get sacked like Billy Batts.
