Since the 2022 thread is closed, let's get this going! These are hauls from the last couple of days.

A few from Monkish: Spark The Brain (stout) and Barrel-aged Batch One (BA lager)

From today. These will be used to kick off a thread in a few minutes.

Not a haul to write home about but it’s a nice drinking set. I ordered a case of Lagunitas for pickup and went inside to get a few cases of wine. Had to check out the beer just because it’s there. The DFH is marked 2019 and it was marked $14.99. Only one I could find. The Mexican cake was a surprise as well.

    Enjoy

Unfortunately, won’t be having either one of these until at least February thanks to dry January. But very excited to eventually have them!

Hopefully you didn't pay too much for them.

"...artificial flavor and caramel color." :flushed::grimacing:

Caramel color seems really odd. Especially for an almost 13% ABV BBA Imperial Stout with coffee.

That's a hell of a deal. Usually I have seen Raison D'Extra for like $10 a single. And 3 years old is no bid deal, that beer can go a decade.

@Luscious_Malfoy I wasn't kidding about the IPAs. Esp since it's become a fucking headache to find stouts in my area. I'm tired of trading for the same BA Stouts .
@augustgarage these are also fresh as hell with the Beachwood/Green Cheek one less than 3 weeks old.

Made it out to a Spec's here in Austin. I have heard about these for a long time, but never visited one. Well, I'm so happy that I did! They had 750ml bottles of de garre tripel!! Never seen these in the wild before. I haven't seen Old Foghorn for many years in SoCal, so this was a pleasant surprise as well! Duvel with a cool glass as well.

@FBarber sent me a nifty package, and despite USPS's attempt to break in...
...everything made it sealed (though not undamaged, that poor VSOR...putting it out of its misery now).
    • Goose Island - Bourbon County Reserve Brand Barleywine Old Fitzgerald (1x 0oz bottle)
    • Goldfinger - Baltic Porter (1x 16oz can)
    • Goldfinger - Chela Chido Negra (1x 16oz can)
    • Hop Butcher + Is/Was - Magic (1x 16oz can)
    • Art History - Wenceslas (1x 16oz can)
    • Riverlands + Art History - Piano Bridge (1x 16oz can)
    • Is/Was - Saison De Non-Denomination (1x 16oz can)
    • Revolution - VSO Dark Mode (1x 12oz can)
    • Revolution - Gravedigger Billy (1x 12oz can)
    • Revolution - VSOR (1x 12oz can)
    • Art History + Marz - Major Boogie (1x 12oz can)
    • Begyle - Batch 1000 (1x 12oz can)
I'm pretty sure this box was sent because I was complaining about the lack of Bourbon County barleywines in the PNW. Which just goes to show you, only good things come of complaining. Or the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Or Frank's just a nice guy. Or something.
