Been wanting Old Rasputin Glasses for a while .The only ones I'd see that weren't used were those awful belcher ( not a fan of that shape) ones on NCs website.

A fellow BA on here reached out about him seeing some at a local and offered to grab some for me.
Here they are!
One for the Rye BA, one for BBA and one for the good old one with no wood needed.

He also sent 3 new to me breweries and 4 new to me beers!

Oxbow - HouseHold ( a horse beer brewed with rye and noble euro hops)

De ProefBrouwerij- KO Blonde Ale ( Belgian Pale Strong Ale)

Eel River - Unkindness Chapter III ( Imperial Stout aged in Cabernet and Kentucky Bourbon Barrels)

Põhajala - Forest Bänger ( Imperial Stout with Rowanberries and Estonian Juniper)

Went a little import crazy. Had to add an American beer for balance so added the below.

 

Box of stouts arrived, really interesting mix that im looking forward to trying.
@Todd organized a good array of different things,at least half i couldn't have gotten to try otherwise

Scary but I cannot remember the name. On Patterson Avenue by UR.

 

I was doing a Dry January for beer hauls...not drinking. Until i saw this tasty lot and had to snatch it up. White Chocolate is one of my favorite beers, the numbskull is a long time want and bottle logic brews are always welcome in my fridge

That is the place. I probably go there at least twice a month mainly to get Maine Beer Company brews and to fill growlers.

 

That’s awesome it’s a great store. We moved out to one of the surrounding counties in 2012 and I don’t think I’ve been there since, we just don’t get up that way much.

Those bottles look like they've been through some rough times. Did the store get flooded or something?

 

Pretty darned excited about these barleywines I got recently...



2 new to me double barrel-aged from Kane one bourbon-barreled then amburana Barrel, the other a hodgepodge of bourbon, rye, Armagnac, cognac, and hopefully a large measure of just plain awesome.

Continuum, my first BA offering from VooDoo since the original Black Magick from way back in the day

2 from Tree House-

Double Baked, double barrel-aged, bourbon and apple brandy, barleywine blended with rum barrel aged barleywine plus a little weizenbock aged in orange bitters barrels.

Tree of unity, blend of barleywine, maybe some bourbon barrel aged?, that spent 15 months in chocolate bitters barrels.

This morning’s small haul from WV and OH -



Big Timber’s BBA Imperial Porter; Weathered Ground’s To The Gills Rye Whisky BA Imperial Stout, and Ada, an Imperial Stout; Fat Head’s Head Hunter IPA; and TG’s Celestial Paradox DIPA.

 

As promised, I had to go back and buy the last 4 pack of Willetized and last 6 pack of Ruination. I was hoping they'd have more, but I can't be too greedy I suppose.



On an unrelated note, I realized how many black/gold labeled cans/bottles I've been enjoying recently between these and the Revolution's new Dark Woods labels.



They look lovely, and as a New Orleans Saints fan, I approve of the color palette.

Didn't realize it until I got home but I had Yeti, Bigfoot, and the Wookey...all the big hairy fellas!

 

It was good to see you, sir.

I ended up grabbing some of that Wookey Jack as well. Good stuff.

 

HAD to pick up a sixer of Lager for today's Championship game!
