@DIM @Beersnake1 SNBC did a few beers such as the "Hemisphere" Harvest Wet Hop series in the 24oz bottle format around that 2016 timeframe and earlier. When chatting with the Mills River Gift Shop beer slinger he said they had the Bigfoot squirreled away in Chico. I plan on going up to SNBC Wednesday and will ask if they have enough for limited distribution.

I just went into the store to get a few apples, two shallots, and chicken breast. No intention to buy beer. Out of the corner of my eye, I see a case of memories, thought of @nicholas2121 and laughed. I could not pass it up. I won’t be cellaring these beers

According to the Mills River Gift Shop they confirmed they were the ones squirreling away the 2016 BA Bigfoot 24 oz bottles. They indicated that if Chico followed suit then it would be likely SNBC would put it up for sale on their website. However, Mills River will not likely put it up for sale on the website.
Thought i would grab the other BA beers available as my wife is finally retiring at the end of the month and i figure i better get my splurging out of my system this month!

I was at the grocery store this morning and ran across these old Stone bombers in the cooler: '15 chai-spiced RIS, '16 RIS, and '18 w00tstout. The story I got was that they were "found in the warehouse." At $5.99 a pop, what could possibly go wrong? I'll hang onto these for the Old-Ass Beers tasting. Cheers!

A combination of small hauls from the past few days:



A couple BCBS. They had an online leftovers release of this at the liquor monopoly a couple weeks back and I figured I’d grab a couple at inflated prices. I have a couple of the 12 ounce barrel variants already, but that is it from ‘22. First year in about 3-4 where I haven’t acquired most of the variants. Ah well.

From Bellwoods, Old Primeval Rum barrel imperial stout x2, Pig WCIPA and Sonny D which is a ‘new world’ lager in collaboration with lager specialists Sonnen Hill.

From the Blood Brothers ‘Over the Tap’ release which was filled with ridiculous add-junk filled grotesque beer abominations, I chose the few that sounded appealing to me. Two are collaboration IPAs with Yakima Chief Hops using experimental hop varieties. One is a TIPA collaboration with Barncat, my favorite local IPA makers, and the the other two are a BA Banofee Pie Imperial stout. I’m losing interest in pastry stouts, but the non-BA version of this was really good, so I indulged. You should see some of the Over the Top stuff I passed on….

 

Not stopping at one box today as I have another, this time all the way from Utah, courtesy of @NorsemanOne. Lots of new goodies that don't make it to the East Coast. Thank you sir!
