I live in Canada but was in the St. Louis area for Christmas - my fiancee's parents got me Three Philosophers, Schlafly TIPA, Yorkshire Stingo, SN Southern Hemisphere Harvest, Northern Hemisphere Harvest, Homegrown Estate Wet Hop Ale, and Celebration, Korbinian and Vitus, Beer Greek Breakfast, Meantime IPA, Uerige Alt, Achel Bruin 8, Espresso Oak Aged Yeti, Ola Dubh 16, J.W. Lees Harvest Ale '08, Stone Anniversary IPA and Imperial Russian Stout, Southern Tier Unearthly and Choklat, Founders Dirty Bastard and Bolt Cutter, Firestone Walker Wookey Jack, and Sam Adams Verloren Gose. Also had the opportunity to taste 4 Hands' core line-up with the brewery owner's wife and try one of Schlafly's Hop Trials (Bullion) at the brewery. Contemplating going out to get a six of Founders Red's Rye PA before I leave tomorrow morning. Easily the best beer Christmas I've had so far.

Not a haul per se, but definitely beer related. My fiancee made this for me for Christmas.

How much for the chimay? A place by me has it for $15 and I wanted to make sure that was around the goiing price. Considering buying three 12oz single of the beers equals around $15, it seems like a deal.

First and foremost, a spending problem. Slightly less serious, a hoarding problem. A more pressing and tangible problem, i'm officially out of room in my beer cellar and need to build an extra level of shelving.

...either that or I need to do some heavy drinking...which i suppose isn't all that much of a problem.

This is the product of a few recent hauls. Thanks Phil.

Anyways, I ended up clearing off space in my basement and created a beer cellar. However, I can see how creating a cellar can lead to collecting beers. Any beer that I only have one of, I dont want to drink. I also had to sort the beers by style (homebrews and imperial stout on top, Westy, double IPAs and barrel aged ales in the middle and barrel aged stouts and barleywines on the bottom).

So effectively immediately, I am imposing a beer buying moratorium until I drink at least 30 of those beers.

    DFH Immort Ale x4
    Three Floyds Zombie Dust x6
    DFH Midas Touch x4
    Green Flash Imperial IPA x1

Just found Immort Ale for the first time last week and loved it! Had to pick up more

When I heard Zombie Dust was in town, I found 9 single bottles. Called another one of my local shops and said they would have more on Thursday. He took my number down and sure enough called and saved me a six pack!

DFH Midas Touch, well that has always been a classic for me.

Green Flash Imperial IPA, I haven't tried yet but have heard great things. Can anyone vouche for this beer?
