Funny you should mention that because I actually am bringing it but I am giving it to Chris Johnson so it will be up to you to talk him into cracking it for you

Even though I can get it somewhat easily, and probably drink 3-4 bottles/month I still find this beer simply amazing. It truly is world class. Even in blind taste tests I have done it has won out over Rochefort 10, St Bernardus 10 etc...
Not saying the latter 2 are not wonderful, but for me Westvleteren 12 is the epitome of a perfect Belgian strong dark ale.

    cheers

Yeah it was. We did a side by side by side tasting of Pliny, Abrasive and Heady. It was an amazing night. I saved the Citra for another night.

Abrasive barely edged out Heady. Both destroyed Pliny. But don't get me wrong. I think fresh Pliny is pretty damn good.

This is probably my favorite thread. Actually seeing pictures (without having to click on a link) is pretty sweet.

In the text box (what I am typing in now) there is a little picture with a tree on it. Click on and it will ask for an image url. Right click the image and copy the image url. Then paste it in and you're good to go.

The Short's cake was pretty good - certainly interesting but very light and not too sweet. Not sure how well it ages, that has to be last seasons batch.

Right, fresh it's an awesome beer. I would be nervous to try it after a year or so. Uber Goober and PB&J Stout didn't hold up very well.

I wasn't very happy with either of those. BOB in Grand Rapids makes a PB Stout - it is unreal.

My most recent haul while being on the east coast for business. Thanks to SilentJay for the case of HT. If only I could add a KTG to this haul but I went 0 for 30 in tickets.

So I've heard. I'm not a huge fan of peanut butter to begin with, but the only PB beer I've had is PB&J Stout and PB Stout from Old Hat Brewery (Very small, local brewery).
