Terrible picture, but finally got rid of the cheap Home Depot shelves and classed it up a bit.

Just put this up today and am pretty proud of myself. Doesn't compare to many other posts, but it'll get there.....one day!

Finally able to catch up with my organization and re-cellar all my brews. Really excited to dip into some of these that have some age on them over the winter.

Stouts and bigger brews including my 2012 DFH 120 I bought as a graduation gift to myself after NIU.

My pride and joy: Sours, lambics, gueuzes and wilds.

I'll post more once finished, but the lambic shelf is functional and in progress!

All those beers and you put cans of beans on top of them?? I'm disgusted.

Haha. That shelf is unfortunately only cans-of-beans-sized : /

    I bet it's can-of-beers-sized as well

Don't have much cellarable 12oz cans! Couple Ten Fiddys already in the fridge.

Currently living in a townhouse so all the beer is in an offsite temp controlled wine storage facility. Closing on our new house end of November and this is already in the basement.

I need a better picture of your lambic shelf. How did you make the cuts? I want to build something similar but don't have been scratching my head on how to make it happen.

Not at home right now but will try to get a better picture over soon. I use a 1 1/2 in hole cutter to do the ends and then connected the outer edges of the holes with a jig saw and a jig. After that, I used a 1/4 in round over attachment on a router, but dropped it down a bit further to get a slight straight edge above the rounded part. The drop down seemed to help keep the bottles more secure with slight movement or bumping.

Want to! If this was your cellar, what would you take care of first?

Either the Cascade Apricot or the Lawson's Finest. I have had neither and both sound delicious. The BA Speedway would make it a Trifecta. Proost!

Admit it. You purchased that house for its ready made beer cellar, didn't you? You can tell us. We're all friends here.
