Beauty! Heads up on that Rum king can though, rumors around hear say that some of the cans are getting real metallic-tasting. I haven't had any issues thus far with my cans but might wanna drink it sooner than later!

Thanks for the heads up, had one of my two a couple days ago...it was good for my tastes but I will get the second into the rotation soon just in case!

Did a bit of reorganizing... most of the old stuff that I want to keep ageing hides in the back on the lower shelves, out of sight, but I'm pretty happy with the current state of affairs. The cases are Old Hickory Irish Walker and Imperial Stout, and Central Waters BBA Stout.

While I was moving things around, I also took a shot just of the Clown Shoes bomber collection.

I've got some good themed sets, with all of the Billionaire releases, along with a Royal Standard, Ride the Lion, and Ride the Wendigo. I'm also an Angry Beast short of having all the Beasts--don't suppose anyone has one hiding somewhere they'd be willing to trade for the cause? @ClownShoesBryan and @ClownShoesDreams , any new additions to those three sets coming up soon, or should I go ahead and set up a tasting?

My "cellar" is the closet under the basement stairs. Got tired of the $15 Target shelves I've had since who knows when, so I made my own shelf out of pallets and 2x4s. Doesn't hold everything, so my plan is to add another to the back wall as well (thought it best to start with one to see how I liked it).

Working progress, everything has been tagged into our own database... Eventually plan on having a temp. controlled environment but basement will do for now.

Finally cleaned out a space for my cellar and homebrew equipment. Upgraded from boxes in a closet to this! About to go get 3M velcro tabs and a light eliminating cloth to cover those shelves.

I bought those 4x4 shelves from ikea 11 years ago and it's served a lot of purposes. Now it's my beer cellar.

The top shelf is every old stock from 2000 until 2016 with cellar releases some are blocked at the end. Oddly I still have two infected bcbs barleywine that I keep hoping will age itself back to tasting good ha

Here's current shot of mine. I shared in the past and got lots of nice feedback and requests for more info. It's a 30"x78" framed-in enclosure with Breezaire cooling unit, cedar-lined with R19 insulation throughout, redwood shelving, exterior grade dual pane door with pull down shade. Capacity is around 450-500 bottles have never completely filled it, (thank God!). Cheers. [IMG]

Hey all...So, I've always kept a little stash of beer, 15-20 bottles in the cupboard. In January, I really got serious about tracking beers down which I had heard were great, or was lucky enough to try. So here I sit now after a few trips out of town with a selection of 30 or so bombers and around 100 bottles/cans. My basement temp is around 63 in the winter, but has already risen to 72 and its not even close to summer time highs here in Utah, so I decided to rig up a little cellar.

I bought an inkbird dual stage temp controller at a local brew supply shop for $42 that I hooked up to my fridge. I set it 55 and the upper threshold at 58..this holds everything that "may" last a year+. one great bonus I found is that if I set the slider in the freezer to the warmest setting, my freezer is now a perfect fridge that stays between 38 and 42!

    Here's the inkbird

And a shot of what's in side...That wire shelf is bowing a little,,,i think I need to beef it up!

The former freezer now ice cold fridge... Beer anyone??

This is my cubby where I use to store everything I had, Now I keep stuff I know i'm going to drink pretty quick... I keep the ole curmudgeon on top so he can keep eye on things.

And finally, a little mini fridge that I thought I would be able to set at 55 and use as extra space but the temperature control sucks and varies from 42 on the bottom to 52 on the top so I make due and keep the stuff i'm gonna drink on the bottom and the top for longer term storage

Well that's it...I'd like give photobucket a giant middle finger for being painfully slow...that almost took me an hr to post.

Those all look like deGarde bottles. I can't remember if they are corked or not, but if they are they should be layed on the side so as to prevent the cork from drying out.

I've been to Cantillon brewery and vast majority of their bottles were stored on the side.

    I love this thread.

I'm finally in the process of moving my beer out of boxes and into...something. Still don't have the ideal solution for my non-refrigerated beers.

This is great inspiration - so please keep up the great photos.

FYI All the cork and cage bottles suppose to be cellared/stored up-right. If it's cork and cap, that's a different story.
