I have no clue where this idea came from but I swear I read that somewhere. Is Prairie Bomb distributed to Colorado?

It was for GABF week. Prairie gets here via crooked stave so hopefully it happens again.

It does make it here, but not very much/often.

I wish we'd see it more because it is delicious.

Do you know if Crooked Stave has any ties with Perfect Pour next door to them? Just wondering, because if they did, that might be the place to contact to try and get some.

I personally think Bomb is a bit overrated. That being said, it was fairly easy to get around town the week of GABF. If youre looking for a Bomb fix, try Copper Kettle's Mexican Chocolate Stout. Similar beer - although more chili-forward - and easy to find.

They seemed to be well stocked with beers being distributed by CS

Not just Denver. I got some Bomb in Ft. Collins during GABF week.

Any sightings this week? I have family out this week and next and that'd be great if they could find some.

I saw two different drops, one GABF week and another a couple weeks later. All went pretty fast

I think this beer is delicious. I always do a double take at the Prairie stuff still hanging around shops around town, hoping some of it has turned into Bomb somehow.

Funky galaxy has me second guessing prairie now. I picked up xmas, butwas skeptical. Fg was a mess for me, and now I am a bit gun shy.

Yea, but realize it's their second worst rated beer and xmas is their worst. Every brewery makes some meh beer, but they have plenty of awesome brews. Bomb is amazing and is just as good as Huna to me, can't say which is better and Pirate Rum is in my top 5. Taste is subjective, but most/all will probably find something they love from Prairie. It makes me ridiculously happy they distribute to CO, especially when they've brought Bomb, Ale, 'Merica and Eli5abeth.
I'd say look at beer ratings first, Prairie is expensive, but if you buy something that sounds appealing to you, you'll probably come out on top.

So do we get the full Prairie line up now? If so any word on Pirate Bomb?

I get it, I reallly do. I think a lot of people hype the shit out of beers that may not deserve that hype. Funky galaxy is one of those, but for me so are a lot of beers. I think bomb was a good beer, but not worthy of the hype it gets. There's a lot going on in that beer, but some of the advertised flavors just weren't there. I enjoyed their hoppy saison, but the rest have been okay at best for me. Maybe I'm jaded.

'Merica was fantastic....best way to have been introduced to these guys, IMO.

Only other thing I tried from them was Puncheon, which is the beer that made me realize Im just not much of a fan of 100% barrel aged saisons. Enjoyed it some, but wouldn't have bought it had I known what my end opinion of it would have been.

Want to try Eli5abeth...but timing for me might not be right. Not sure its in the budget.

We'll be tapping 'Merica at Patrick's in Greeley sometime after Thanksgiving, after our Bourbon County release and Goose Island Takeover on Friday (shameless plug). It's one of my favorite Saisons and the Nelson Sauvin and Brett work together perfectly to provide a nice balance of citrus and spice.

Anybody know if the newest batch of Bomb (pink wax) or Pirate Bomb is coming to Colorado? I'm debating trading for some, but if we are going to get it i'm not going to bother.
