4/21/2012 Pretty Things Beer & Ale Project is making preparations to embark on an epic cross-country road trip this Saturday from Somerville, Massachusetts to the 2012 Craft Brewers Conference in San Diego, California (May 2-5) and we’re inviting you to join us. We’ll be hitting the back roads and taking-in as much road food, Americana, nostalgia, and fabulous American craft beer along the way. The highlight of the trip will be the brewing of our first-ever collaborative beer in Kansas City with Brewmaster Steven Pauwels and the crew from Boulevard Brewing Company on April 25th and 26th.

This trip also celebrates co-founder Martha Holley-Paquette’s new American citizenship, and who knows what beer ideas we will dream up along the way...

We’ll be keeping you updated with our progress via Twitter, daily video feeds, blogs, and “guess where we are” photos. The gadabouts on board will be co-founders Dann and Martha, Anya Kanevsky, and Boston area legend, WMBR radio DJ John Funke (sitting in for the irreplaceable Jim “Bocky” Barnes, who couldn't make it).

On May 1st our trip will culminate in San Diego with a Pretty Things beer event at Eleven, San Diego , DJ John Funke will be spinning 45’s and we'll be tapping kegs of Jack D'Or and Baby Tree. Finally, we’ll be pouring our beers at Bottle Craft in San Diego on May 3rd.

Then we just have to make it back again!
