After more google the label shown says 12oz.
Last I heard, the Bishop Barrel series was going to be on-premises only... in Houston... only for top accounts.
In other news: Whip In just tweeted that they just put a keg of DR9 on tap, in case anyone wants to compare/contrast.
Oh snap that's nice
Good thing i'm going there tonight
Hubbell and Hudson still has a bunch.
If anyone in the Austin/Round Rock area still needs some Pumpkinator, I just heard that Specs Round Rock still has 1 case left. Have to ask for it.
HEB in Round Rock on 620 has about 8 bottles left out of an original 6 cases delivered...
Heb in Klein has half a case in the cooler.
My brother is trying to find it in College Station, any one have an idea what places might have it there?
Tell him to drive down to Klein
FYI, this was sitting on the shelf at Smith St. Spec's this morning. Not sure if it survived the Bodacious crowd, though...
Lol, I should have looked harder, i just walked in, grabbed my shit, and left.
the Kroger at San Felipe/Voss still had an asston over the weekend.
yeah my sister in law works at the specs there and she said they sold out in 3 hours
Im sure O'Bannons or Fox will get it on tap. Just tell him to go try it there if he wants a taste.
I was at O'Bannons this weekend and I believe they are tapping a cask on the 24th. Hope that helps.
Since when has O'Bannons had a cask? Is it once in a while, or have they been doing one regularly lately. Been a few years since my last visit.
They've been doing casks pretty regularly now, at least once a month. Usually it's just an arbitrary Rahr cask though.
Washbangers had a few bottles @$14 walkout price if he finds that price worth it.
Baller! Thanks guy, I will let him now asap.
Just went to my local Kroger, they have a ton there. Broke one open tonight, very nice, very spicy and not boozy at all
Local gives the rest of us no info. Share please
This is much better fresh IMO. I had a 2011 Pumpkinator, and the next night I had the 2012 version I enjoyed it much more. The stout and pumpkin notes mellowed out a little too much for my taste. As far as I know there was only 1 bottle left at Spec's Round Rock. I picked up 2 on Saturday night.
Kroger in Keller ( north Fort Worth) no one here drinks good beer ( more for me)
$7.99 BTW, not to bad, they get fresh Endeavor @$5.99 as well
If Houston folks are still looking there were a few bottles still left at the Randall's at San Felipe and Sage.
I only make it back to College Station once a year, so I'm not familiar with what they can get a hold of. They had a pretty good looking tap wall on Saturday night though. Actually it was an amazing tap selection compared to what was available when I was a student there. I saw a few Karbach taps in other bars too.
Wow! I haven't been back since I was a student 4 years ago and let me just say that I'm impressed. I remember the tap list being ok but it didn't shout We Love Craft Beer as it does now.
FWIW, O'Bannons in College Station is tapping a cask of Pumkinator tonight at 6:00pm
Okay, so this stuff gives me the worst gas. I thought the couple of times it happened last year were maybe just a coincidence but after the bottle I had a couple of days ago... I mean wickedly foul gas. Everybody loves their own brand so when you're grossing yourself out you know it's bad.
stop the gas and send the rest of the beer our way
This seems to be a new topic. I think it needs its own thread....
ewwwww... Allergic to pumpkins or allspice are we?
I was surprised to see our Randall's had a spot for this when we were shopping yesterday. Gone, of course.
Ya gotta understand... the best thing my Randall's usually gets is SN Torpedo and Fireman's 4.
Just saw 3 cases at the specs on Jones/290 for anyone who is still looking
ya i kept finding rouge bottles at the weirdest places too, i think st arnolds distributor sent at least one case to every account
The market is saturated
why is this beer so awesome?
