    Hey guys,

Going to be in San Diego in a few weeks with my family. Looking to pick up some great Cali beer to bring home. So question is, whats the best bottle shop in San Diego and also where can I pick up a 12 bottle shipper?

    Thanks and Cheers

    Holiday Wine Cellar. Ridiculous.
    302 W Mission Ave, Escondido, CA 92025

    Sorrento Wine and Spirits.
9430 Scranton Rd, San Diego, CA 92121

    The Piccadilly Marketplace.
14149 Twin Peaks Rd, Poway, CA 92064

No idea about the 12-pack shipper, though.

Oh.. and Churchill's in San Marcos.. Huge bottle list.

Bottlecraft in Little Italy is amazing, too.. Shit, there are like, 100 mind-blowing shops around here. Go nuts.

Where are you going to be? It's a lot easier to suggest good bottleshops in your area.

Definitely check out Toronado in North Park.. Crazy tap list. Frequently have Pliny on tap.

There is a Bottlecraft in North Park you should visit. I like Bine & Vine on Adams Ave. which isn't too far. I've heard good things about Pacific Liquor, but have yet to check it out.

If you have a car and three or so hours, you should make the trip out to Alpine Brewing.

Any Bev-mo usually has the shippers.

Hit Bottlecraft in North Park last night. Amazing. Huge selection. Close to Toronado, Ritual, The Linkery, Hubcap, Tiger Tiger and others. Initial thought was the selection was better than Bine & Vine.

This is where I go to get my shippers as well. They usually have both the cardboard-style and Styrofoam shippers and available in 1, 2, 3, 6, 12 bottle shippers

My local bevmo (La Mesa) stopped carrying the styro shippers. Mission Valley would be closest to North Park, I think, so you should check with them.

That's a bummer. I usually got to BevMo in Mira Mesa or Carmel Valley and they had the styro shippers in stock. Hopefully they don't go away.

I finally made to Palm Springs Liquor yesterday - was headed back from Alpine and thought I would check it out. Nice guys, nice inventory.

I solved one of those personal mysteries, too. Why "Palm Springs Liquor" in La Mesa? OK, let's see...125 South to Spring to Palm...AHA!!!

It's at the intersection of Spring St. too
