Maybe overlooked? Great tap list today, had 2011 kbs followed by heaven and hell. Had to stop after that.
RR gets really, really good beer. I just follow casually (get out once in a while, check lists at "work"). If pressed right now I might say RR>Lucky Lab>Craft>FQB as far as the more sought after offerings on tap in the immediate area. All fine establishments. Have only been to RR a few times. It's definitely a bar, really all the way on the bar side of the bar-gastropub continuum, which should appeal to me, except that I've settled into TJs as home base, as much as there is one at least. I wouldn't mind some pool with good beer after work (games are sorely lacking these days). Hybrid too, with many not drinking craft, although it's been a while.
Funny going into the old Linfield Hotel and seeing nearly 38 taps of all sorts of craft beer there. It completely lacks any pretense and the food is straight up good . They get my vote for second best burger in the area (only after Village Whisky.) The owner is obviously a beer guy and he loves to talk with us about what he has or is getting and it's a great place just to hang out on a lazy day. Needless to say, it's one of our favorite places and sometimes a tough call to go there or CAH.
