#1 Chocolate Rain – mine was a 2013 Vintage: not overly alcoholic as the base beer, succeeds the best in being a bourbon, vanilla, chocolate, sweet assault, mildly complex but not much so. Def. fun for the experience. Easily the best one. Only one I would recommend obtaining just for the experience.

#2 Mocha Wednesday: Very simple but nice a simple very strong, coffee forward beer at a very high syrupy ABV, oddly more hazel taste than Grey Monday. Good but not really bothering for.

#3 Grey Monday: Definitely expected more hazelnut, good but overly boozy, no complexity, touch soy sauce, nicer than the base beer. Scented wax is so Spinal Tap.

#4 Black Tuesday: Good beer to do very heavy adjectives on but overly alcoholic on its own even for the ABV this felt way too boozy. No complexity & not very impressive as a RIS. Fun for how strong it is etc. but not a very impressive beer.

I have a bottle of Wineification II at home that I am curious about. I have never had the Rum barrel aged variety.

B1 GM was by far the weakest of all of its vintages. Kinda seems like you are listing the first vintage of each just to #humblebrag.

Oh, and technically there was no '10 CR.

Forgive me, the first batch of CR. No humble brag, just have been around for awhile. I feel that with BT and CR changing so much over the years that they should all be judged by their first bottlings.

    My order is:

Mocha Wednesday - love the smoothness and roasted coffee flavor. Very rich, though not too sweet for my taste as some have mentioned.

Grey Monday - felt the hazelnuts added an interesting oiliness that was actually good. I can also appreciate all the hard work that used to go in to adding all the nuts to the barrels, so that earns merit points for me.

Chocolate Rain - love the richness of the beer and hold it dear as my first in the "weekday" series.

Black Tuesday - still outstanding like all of these, but to me the alcohol is more pronounced and made it more of a sipping beer over the others. I've had the Madiera and Port variants as well and can say of all BT's, Madiera was my favorite. Also had raw, un-aged BT when I was at the spirit barrel tasting and it actually was not pleasant. Tasted nothing like the BT I know.

lol - but you know what? By the fourth or fifth post of "CR> MW > GM > BT" all the acronyms had lost their meaning again and I personally needed a reset :stuck_out_tongue:

Never had the pleasure of trying any of these (yet). On my "wish list" (trade list?).
