SERIOUSLY ISO (bottle version)! Would love to get my hands on a bottle solely for the artwork. If anyone wants to trade me a bottle please send me a message on here!

I don't think you read my post correctly. I was pointing that out to show that the beer was brewed prior to the day the MNPikey had assumed.

I didn't assume anything. Todd and the other brewers post on Twitter all the time. And 3 Floyds. And Real Ale (in this case).

Blakkr was brewed at Surly on 2/6.

Yep, and my response to all that was "Yes, because no brewery has brewed more than 1 batch of a beer ever."

One batch was brewed at each brewery and there will be one canning, they were all there together doing it together. In Blanco, TX. In Munster, and in Brooklyn Center. Tons of photos and info on Facebook and Twitter. They don't have any secrets.

Hah, this isn't about secrets. I just think it's funny that you are dead set on saying they only brewed it once and on 2/6 when there are others in this thread who saw fermenters with BLAKKR on them before that time.

I will be in the Twin Cities area Thursday the 27th. Is there anyone able to pick up 4-pack of Blakkr for me? We can meet wherever is convenient and I'll pay for the beer and bring some local stuff as a thank you, buy you a beer at a bar, whatever. We can work out the details in a private message. Thanks guys and gals.

I wouldn't do that if I were you.

You're such a dumb ass, it's not even funny....

    ...seriously, I'm eating crow here.
Went down to Grumpys NE tonight for the release....and the beer is really good.
Hats off to everyone at Surly, FFF & Real Ale for pulling this off.

Also met another great BA tonight - Cheers Ryan!

Jim, thanks for bringing Evil Twin Even More Jesus! I still can't believe that isn't barrel aged.

Abrasive and Darkness had a baby is the best way to describe this, as Todd was quoted!

I was kinda surprised how much i enjoyed this beer as well... i'll def be picking up a 4-pack as soon as i can find some this week.

btw, re: that $24/4-pack rumor, was told yesterday to expect it to be priced closer to Abrasive (i.e.: probably $15-18/4-pack), but that it is definitely the most expensive beer they've brewed.

$18.99/4-pk at MGM Eagan - was told by the owner that he only received 3 cases. Supply was pretty sparse when I got there at 1pm

Just called and it's all gone. I find it strange that MGM Eagan got this today, but other area stores did not.

I'll posted a full review after a few more fans, but this is a very interesting combo of stout and hops. It's excellent.

Any sign of this in the west central part of the state? Hell, I'm probably the only one here who doesn't live in the metro...
