I thought I saw cans coming off the line in a pic the other day, but maybe it was just a picture of a can.. or maybe I was dreaming about beer and Game of Thrones.

I really enjoyed tasting this on Sunday at The Ginger Man. I'll be on the lookout for more.

I see ale on the label but other than that what style is it?

It's a British style, iirc. Not sure which one.

I heard it was not coming out until August.

I have already seen cans around town (or on twitter). Not for sale though - I know sunrise mini market had a can in (brought to them by Real Ale) to try before it was available - I only know this because I was there and tried to buy it off of him after the Real Ale guy left.

Well, I will believe you then.

Any idea on the recommended retail of a 4 or 6 pack?

Source? I question that given Real Ale's capacity and the number of consumers in TX.
►I do wonder how much made it to draft?

I was informed 4 pallets are sitting in the warehouse currently, ~200+ cases is accurate. It is also delicious.

I have had a few cans from a friend that did some work for Real Ale. I do enjoy it very much, but would be excellent on cask.

Single Wide on Greenville. Good beer, fits English pale style well.

Yeah, I just got a text from one of my beer guys that he's expecting 40 cases this week at his place alone, lol.

I think the BEK rep either heard it wrong or was trying to hype this up. :)

Real Ale has a 60bbl brewhouse, so that 200 cases number really sounded low. They'd have to literally fill their brewhouse to 25% full to make such a "small" amount of beer.

sooo after reading Ur post - I called BEK sales rep and asked him

me: BTW, did u say they made 200 Cases of iron swan?

Sales rep : Yeah that was the initial #, turned out to be more like 3000+ for all TX

    Cheers,
    Sam
