I would welcome any recommendations for craft brews and pubs in The Republic of Ireland. I'm heading to Dublin and will wander around the Temple Bar area but checking all the existing and well established pubs sounds rather daunting. Hints for an itinerary and craft suggestions appreciated...

you looking for just beer places? Temple bar is a blast. we hung out in the places that had folk music. not much beer choices. Stay away from the gravity bar, its not worth it unless some one gives you more than 1 free beer ticket.

Trip reports of my last couple of visits to Dublin here.

If you are looking for Craft Beer, stay away from Guinness -- OK, you can have one to prove it is the same there as in any pub in the US that treats it properly.

A view of the Guinness "factory" and a mountain of empty kegs....

Beoir, the Irish craft beer advocacy group, have an app called BeerFinder; downloading that will sort you out for your Dublin options.
(Which should include Bull & Castle, Farrington's, Black Sheep, Sweetmans, and Mulligan Grocer, at least.)
