I always liked Ale House Amesbury. The Grog is solid, but I like the place up the street better. It’s called the Port Tavern.

Gulu Gulu Cafe in Salem has the best draft and bottle list on the North Shore, and yummy paninis and crepes, and is around the corner from Notch, which is a fabulous tap room (but not a restaurant). The Indo Pub in Beverly has a great tap list and yummy pub food.

I would 2nd Gulu Gulu. Notch is not a restaurant but they have def expanded their food options a bit.

Great suggestions above - partial to the Amesbury locations - Silvaticus space is really cool - and BareWolf is suddenly making very solid NEIPAs. Lots of options for food - Crave is very good and has at least a few good beers on tap and in cans. Ale house menu leaves a bit to be desired but tap list is solid and atmosphere is good. Another suggestion is Haverhill - Hidden Pig is very good - tasty food and good tap list. The Tap and Barking Dog (owned by the Amesbury Ale house folks ) are other very solid options.

Black Cow in NBPT has one of the better draft lists on the North Shore, suprised nobody mentioned them. Food is great. Theres another location in Hamilton that is smaller and more neighborhoody but does a great job with the list.

Thanks all I think we've settled on the Ale House. Gonna come down from NH hit Vitamin Sea, the Craft Beer Cellar in Braintreee then Trullium Canton. Then hit Amesbury Bare Wolf and dinner at the Ale House. Oh I think my wife said there's gonna be a stop at Ulta Beauty. Lol

    Should be a fun day.
