Hoping for some more Revision goodness here in California in 2019. Clear & hazy. And it looks like their Barrel Aged stouts are ready and coming out for 2019.

Just hoping fresh 6ers of IPA cans cross my path with more regularity. Kinda getting burnt out on the haze train, but their more traditional West Coast recipes are crushing it for my palate and preferences.

True. I’m still in the hunt for a sixtel of their regular ipa.

Ive never seen them packaged in any other than singles around here. Do you guys get sixers of any of their stuff? and is it 6x16? We only get 16oz cans and some bombers.

6x12 of IPA and DIPA make appearances from time to time in my area. Usually with decent price points, $14 for IPA, $16 for DIPA.

super jelly, those would be regulars for me. the single 16 oz is always a little steep price for me to buy in any real quantity. I'll have to pester some beer store folks

Clear cans are 6pk (12oz). Haze cans are 4pk (16oz). We get bombers as well. I pick up whatever cans come in to my locals. There are times when it’s dry. So I’ll grab em’ when I can.

Found yesterday at the Raley's/Bel Air stores on sale....12/15/18 canned 6ers of IPA for $11.50 each. Needless to say I grabbed several. The wife was pleased.

I have tried getting into Stouts the last month despite my hate of the coffee flavor LOL - but if chocolate, rum, bourbon, vanilla, coconut, etc is the predominant flavor I can abide. Really looking forward to seeing what Revision is able to do, since I have like about 95% of their hoppy offerings thus far, and they are generally at better price points...Stouts ain't cheap!

Revision put out their first bottled BA Imperial Stout this past week. Only a few reviews so far.

Revision said the price on that BA stout is $24.99 so maybe $30 at retail?

So glad Revision distributes to the northern portion of California!
I've had upwards of 10 of their hazy offerings and i'd say for my palate The Bruff has been my favorite. It poured hazy and had a fruity nose, but it had an earthiness to it that was delicious.

After The Bruff the next tier in my opinion is
Planetary Fog, Social Fermentation, Elevation Calculation.

Also I am able to find the Clear Revision single and double IPAs at my local Rayleys for 10-12$ a 6 pack. Cant beat it!

Tons of hazies making the rounds in the Bay Area. I just stopped by Berkeley Bowl West this morning, they had Tahoe Haze, State of Haze, The Bruff, Scrog Grog, and Staff of Life. I've also seen a re-up of Hangry bombers in a few locations - probably the best triple IPA out right now.

I'm seeing these BBA Finite Madness for $25-$26 at various places in the East Bay. Pour Decisions has made it's way here along with reloads of various other Rev hazies - 6-8 different ones at some location. Just glorious.

It's obviously not the easiest to find West Coast IPA (Lagunitas), but it's probably top 5 best ratio of easy to find/tasty. Although I am still a big fan of Breaking Bud and Blind Pig (harder to find, but better).

Been a while since I’ve had a new beer from Revision.
Hi - Juno (citra, Mosaic, lactose)
Very enjoyable at 6abv. Though I still think the absence of lactose is preferential, I think it works here. Might be my favorite of the milk sugar IPAs from Revision yet.

Picked up a couple of 4pk of Distance Haze at one of my local stores. This one is a new one I haven’t seen here in the OC/LA area. Should be tasty.

I thought this one was decent, but definitely in the lower tier of Revision Hazies with Tahoe Haze, Revice, and Glitter Moon. Now granted, that still means its a solid beer, just not on the same level as many others. I am still very iffy on lactose added to IPAs unless done by Alvarado Street.

Does Revision and Alvarado Street label their lactose beers?

Pretty sure, but can't say for certain that all of them do get labeled.

Pretty much any and all Rev cans and bottles, hazy’s and clear ipas. Check the dates on the bottles. Cans too. Their hazy’s cans can sit up to 4 weeks.

Yes. Both breweries put on the can if lactose is in the beer. They will always put "milk sugar" on lactose-implemented offerings. Alvarado has it on the front of the can; Revision off to the side on the edge.

Finally got the DIPA and IPA 6 packs around here. The DIPA is amazing, and I assume the IPA must be as well because the 6 pack I bought got demolished in one night by my girl friend and her visiting friend while they stayed up until 4 in the morning (neither usually drinks much beer and we've got kids, 9 oclock is a typical bed time)

Their IPA is the best flagship beer out period. Also I think they make the best triple IPAs, love all the rotating ones they put out.

Looks like they brought back Leafy Greens for 4/20 release. At Total Wine and most bottle Shops. Pretty solid West Coast IPA with some CTZ.

I brought this, BW newest clear west coast ipa cans and a $10 growler fill of Karl’s Boat Shoes Hazy IPA for Easter Sunday brunch with the family. Between the 3 of us good beer drinkers Leafy Green was the better of the 3. All 3 were fresh and good.
