Enjoying a Planet Lovetron right now, picked up tonight in north SD. Mainly cuz it was a bit cheaper than some other options. Really nice, and I'm sick. Zero of the grainy/vitamin-y element that I got some from some early SD haze efforts.

I really like and enjoy these guys west coast ipa’s. Kinda reminds me of the old Noble (no not year 1) and Knee Deep. Their Revenge Series looks like it’s picking up where Noble’s left off with the Shower series. But still looking forward to trying more of their hazy can series. Hopefully they will can all of their beers soon.

Made the stupid mistake of hitting caps and taps after my meeting in Livermore instead of before, and thus missed out on Jewel Box, my favorite Revision Hazy this far. Not a total loss though, as I was able to pick up some of the new Smoke and Mirrors. Looking forward to trying that this weekend!

Yep! I enjoyed Sucka Fish and just bought a bottle of Drifting Through The Hopyard and four cans of Smoke & Mirrors from K&L.

They very well may be brewing the best WCIPAs these days or at least some of the best.

My preferred bottle shop had plenty of Planet Lovetron and The Bruff available today. So, assuming Smoke & Mirrors gets here in the next week, it may be a little crowded.

Some of the oddest names and labels in the beer community today and that's really saying something.

Do you think it has to do with the fact every Northeast Style IPA has Haze, Fog, Cloud, Juice, murk, or some other descriptive term denoting the lack of clarity in the name of the beer? As someone who has begun to gravitate towards the NEIPA style, I like being able to go into a bar and have an idea of a beer is hazy, but at the same time it's pretty repetitive. I kinda like their random names lol

    * And yes, I realize they have a couple beers with Haze and fog in the name :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh, and the fact that IMO all of their NEIPAs other than Tahoe Haze have been at least a 4 means I'm absolutely looking forward to getting my hands on these.

They have to know they're ridiculous names and artwork, I think they might be coming with the frame of mind that they can name their beers whatever they want and put whatever artwork on their cans and people will still buy them because they know and we know what's inside matters the most.

Cans of Smoke & Mirrors and Lord Lupulin just arrived in the LA/OC area today.

Should hit retail stores next week.

Dates on my cans were 1/5 for LL and 1/6 for SnM if memory serves.

Smoke & Mirrors versus Lord Lupulin (b2)?
Only hazy can from Rev I’ve had was Planet Lovtron. One can left.
I can score a 1/6 keg of either right now? Which one?

I have a couple cans of both that I'm drinking tonight. I can give you my opinion in a bit.

Can't speak for your preferences, but I have LL in my bottom end of the Revision hazy offerings, though worth noting that the reviews/ratings seem polarizing. I loved the mouthfeel on SnM, but wanted the nose and taste to be more dynamic. If it was my coin, I'd grab SnM for my taste.

I feel like I have preferred the double ipas every batch till this one. Lord Lupulin is really damn good. Colorwise it is much thicker and hazier than than Smoke & Mirrors. Probably should have another Smoke & Mirrors to confirm.
