Revolution's 2016 Unsessionable - New Recipe?

From a friend of a friend who is a Rev employee.

 

So...
You can only exchange at the city of Chicago taproom? Should the people who bought their beer in New York book flights?

 

Wow, despite having to contend with a massive head start Revolution isn't as far behind Goose Island as previously thought!

 

I knew this tasted off! I was floored by how Belgian tasting this was!!!

 

This makes a lot of sense for the terrible Fist City I had this weekend.

 

Anyone outside of Illinois email them and get any response as far as exchanging product?

 

Based on the twitter, it appears Rev wants folks out of state to email them individually and include info regarding the beer which was purchased & where it was purchased.

 

Heard from them yesterday after I posted this - I'm getting a t-shirt so that's cool I guess.

 

Unfortunately, the t-shirt will be 2 sizes too big and have a Goose Island logo on it...

 

As long as it's not a V Neck I'm good to go

 

Fist City and AH were effected the last couple times I bought them, and I did wonder WTF. I did decide after the last purchase those beers are moved to my walk past the shelf and will not buy anymore. How many don't have the effected beers around anymore to get reimbursed, I don't.
I didn't buy any of the Unsessionable after hearing about the flavor, I did really like that one. Oh well, people can tell me it's my loss if I don't buy anymore Revolution...it will be a while before I buy anymore.

 

I ended up with some of the off-tasting Mosaic Hero. Though I did pick up some Fist City once they brewed new batches. Still a refreshing beer at a good price. I have no hesitation in continuing to buy Revolution.

 

What do you want them to do? You can't expect them to give refunds to everyone who said they had their beer, can you?

 

I suppose not but, I would have liked it if they were paying better attention so I wouldn't have wasted my time and money on their beer.

The disclosure they put on their website was dated 10/17 about a handful of beers they canned the first week of August.
