But, does it smell like a new hop every day? For the tickers.

We'll, I've almost drowned in an actual river (just about ruined the company campout), and drowning is not the way anybody wants.

Even in a river of beer.

Umm as a civil engineer myself, if sewage outflows like floor drains containing beer are reaching the river unabated, well...some other sewer flows may be reaching there as well. So I'd caution against drinking from that stream!

Seriously, you do not want to die by drowning. Even on a warm, sunny day in the Nooksack River.

Let alone ruining the company campout.

I hope all you FFF's (F*ckin' Freshness Freaks) are happy now! Always bitchin' about distributors who don't monitor date codes on the old beer, pull them off the shelves, take 'em back to the warehouse and "destroy them" (as required by many brewers' contracts). Keep track of the amount of beer, too, and you can a refund on the Federal and state excise taxes.

But how do you destroy them? Lay them out on the loading dock floor, run 'em over with the forklifts (it's tax deductible - tell the IRS it's OSHA required safety training), scrape up the aluminum (use a snow shovel - what else are you going to use it for in Hawaii?) and take it to the scrap yard for payment, allowing the liquid to drain down the grates in the floor out to the storm sewer.

Viola! Beer (water, grain, hops = all organic) just disappears.

I mean, what else are you going to do? Just bury them out behind the warehouse? That didn't work out.

    Damn kids!

I'm a bit perplexed why folks are surprised at this event, when things like this happened many decades ago - or do people still think that the Budweiser Frogs were just fictional spokesreptiles dreamed up by some annoying ad agency?
