Road Trip -- Las Vegas to Amarillo -- Beer stops/purchases?

    Hi everyone,

    Will be on a (very) long road trip this May. Starting in Las Vegas, will be driving to Chicago, passing through Flagstaff, Albuquerque, Amarillo on my way. I enjoy hoppy IPAs, Pale Ales, and Belgian beers, not so much Stouts, Porters, and Black IPAs.

    Two questions: First, any "must stop" beer bars/restaurants on this route? Second, any local beers that I should stop and purchase? I won't have a ton of space, but I should have room for a case of beer or two.

    Le Cumbre and (ex-Il Vicino) Canteen are only a few blocks from each other, and Nexus isn't far away, either. If I were in a hurry, I would concentrate on these. But if you have more time ... (see above recommendations)
