Going to be in Columbus next Thursday-Sunday for ROTR. I was hoping to get some suggestions for a couple different things.

    1) Where is the best place to find some good craft stuff to purchase and take home? Being from WV we are very limited in our selection.

    2) Prob even more importantly...what is a recommendation for an "all-day" drinker. I'm trying to avoid IPA or anything to terribly high in the alcohol department. And I'm hoping for something that tastes better than High Life and PBR. lol...

    1) There are a bunch of other posts asking about shops in the Columbus area, but as far as close to where RotR is, Savor (there are 2 that are both fairly close) and Weiland's are your best bet.

    2) "All Day IPA" comes to mind - a session (4.7%) IPA that comes in 15packs (but can be a chore to find fresh ones) unless you really didn't want an IPA for taste reasons.. Anderson Valley Gose could be an option if you like the style. Most "summer" beers probably fit your need.

Daily growler(2 locations) has great stuff. Andersens (2 locations), whole foods (2 locations), and crafted drafts have the bottle selection in town.

Unless things have changed in the last two years, you're going to be disappointed with the beer choices at the festival. I was last there in 2013, and looking at my check-ins, I had Bud Select and Killian's. Bud and Bud Light were the dominant choices. No bags are allowed, so I don't see getting any outside beer in there, either.

Yes, once you get inside the selection sucks. I'd be happy if they have Killians. Ha! But most likely PBR for me.

Thanks for the suggestions bdb1975. Daily Growler sounds interesting.
