Just posting this because I didn't see any release information on this in the forum. Feel free to take this down if I'm wrong, however. Just picked this up a couple days ago at a world market and I read that it is a special release.

TASTING NOTES: Marionberry Braggot combines Rogue Farms Marioberries, which we grow and hand-pick ourselves, with our Hopyard Honey, collected from 119 colonies of Rogue Farms honeybees who feed off wildflower nectar around the farm. It's a true taste of the terroir of the Wigrich Appellation.

17 INGREDIENTS: Rogue Farms Honey & Wildflower Honey; Rogue Farms Dare™, Risk™, Dare™ R-1, Dare™ R-3, Risk™ R-1, Risk™ R-3, Risk™ R-7, Maier Munich & C120 Malts; Rogue Farms Flaked Rye; Rogue Farms Rebel Hops; Rogue Farms Marionberries & Marionberry Juice; Free Range Coastal Water & Pacman Yeast.

This is a very good beer. Having never drank a braggot before, this is a great first impression. It's fruity and tastes like berries and honey. Definitely recommend if you see this while out and about!!

Definitely do!! I'm drinking it now. I can't believe it's 11.42% abv. This literally doesn't taste a bit over 6% or so. Not in a bad way, either. It's just so smooth.

Edit: it's probably because it only has 17ibu's

I hate how Rogue always rates their beers in Plato. That's nice for people who brew regularly, and know that scale, but I have no idea what that translates to ABV-wise, and I'd be willing to bet most drinkers don't either.

Went to the Rogue Brewery and stayed at their Bed and Beer brewpub 3 weeks ago. Tried almost every beer offered including their Big Ass Barrel series (or whatever the hell it was called). I now have less appreciation for Rogue beers than I did prior to visiting. This Marionberry Braggot tastes like a shitty alcohol burnt barleywine mixed with mad dog 20/20. Yes, it's that good.

One more thing, their stupid Dare, Risk and all of the other shit that is farm to table is a stupid gimmick. I don't give a shit if they use GMO 2-row and produce extra emissions with their brewery. Make good beer, don't over charge for shitty beer.

Weird to see a post that's actually filled with positive excitement for a Rogue product here on BA.

I picked it up, if only because it's nice to see one more braggot in the world.
