Yes, many do -- sometimes limits are based on, for example, a 12-shipper of bombers -- that's 264 oz. And some guys regularly send over 400. "Modestly sized" was meant as a positive term, by the way.

Awesome box -- @Goblinmunkey7 did your hints mean anything, or were you just posting gibberish to mess with us since your target obviously knew who was shipping to him?

EDIT -- Sorry I just saw someone else asked too, and saw the Springfield answer. Nice job.

Thanks and I'll let you know. We hit up the place in Lewiston before the Jack White show in June. It was awesome - my wife had KBS on draft and got completely hammered before the show, Community Beer Works had a tap takeover outside, and I was finally able to get my hands on Deep Cut (always sold out when I head to Big Ditch). I just wish Consumer's did singles, too, since Lewiston is a haul from Alden/Lancaster.

Agreed. Worked at consumers just out of college and was, still am disappointed with them a large amount of the time.

I was not talking about Brewed and Bottled but, I was talking about the Tops up there! Always has fresh Buffalo and NYC stuff (singlecut especially)!

Oh. That's odd. Here Tops is terrible with their beers, but Wegmans is on par with the local beer store.

We can keep this between us girls, the beer selection there is awesome (its a privately owned and operated Tops). Got 2 50/50 Eclipse stouts for 19.99. 30 bucks each everywhere else. cant wait to close on my house and drink them to celebrate!

I will. And it was also awesome how the Bills kicked the crap out of the queens last week. I just hope they got it out of their system

I've been hit! I've been hit!!
And not by one, but by TWO boxes!!. The two of which held an interesting surprise together...but that will soon be revealed to @Oconomowocian (a complete ninja that I was not expecting at all) and @swenny916 (a non ninja that I was expecting)

Anywho, I arrived home from work to this: [IMG]
I instantly knew what was going on. But I was confused. I was expect boxes from a few places...but not from Wisconsin. none from wisconsin. So of course, I open it up. To reveal this surprise bounty: [IMG]
    New Glarus:
    Spotted Cow
    Strawberry Rhubarb
    Cran-Bic 2016
    Wild Sour Ale 2018
As well as Meerts (!!!!!) with Tart Cherries from Funk Factory.
All new ticks (I've had the cran-bic from this year), and all something to look forward to, as funky sours are what I live for.

Now, @swenny916 is probably laughing at this point. Why you might ask? Well, upon opening his box, I dug up these beauties:
Of which the first think I pulled out was ANOTHER Meerts!!!!Also with tart cherries. now, meerts, wether or not its actually been on my want list, has been a long time want. i love lambics and other coolship beers. So this is insanity.
    From left to right:
DDH Sparkle Motion - Narrow Gauge Brewery (+ a glass. This is a cool brewery, looks like a nomadic brewery currently brewing at Florissant Brewing (both of which I have never heard of)
Old Town Porter - Narrow Gauge Brewery
    Grisette - Side Project
Fluer de Lupulin - BKS Artisan Ales
Meerts w/ Tart Cherries - Funk Factory
    Guava Weiss - Crane Brewing
    Grapefruit Gose - Crane Brewing
    Cassian Sunset - Central Waters

Damn damn where to start!!! 1. All new ticks. 2. 4 new breweries. 3. TONS of sour goodness. so much more holy moly. you folks are amazing!!
Also, upon further inspection, it should be noted that the two meerts, while the same beer, seem to be from two different vintages, with the labels being slightly different and the beer on the inside (or the glass itself) being of two different colors. aka, they will likely be opened up together! If you folks know when you bought them, that would be amazing, if not, I'm excited to try em side by side regardless.

Hell I think there are even new states in these!!!! @swenny916 Missouri?? thats almost forsure a new state for me

Wait... was it side show bob or sponge bob in all those hints?
Random thought - they have duff beer at Simpson’s land in universal Orlando. I tried to bribe like 10 different employees to sell me an unopened can. Nobody would.

Also. My box will unfortunately be delayed, as USPS (for the first time to me!!) has seemingly lost it entirely. Funnily enough, I usually split up which post offices I go to. and the one that FlintB got his box from that was beaten up is the same as the one from the missing box. aka, in the future, imma stay far far away. So sorry @wilymobastardo !!!! I will do my best to ship this sunday

Ha! Can’t beleive you were double Meertz’d. Funny thing is u could drink both of them back to back and still be fine because they are low abv. Levi has a really cool blog on his site talking about the second runnings of lambics- check it out.

Mine was from the first release last year right when the taproom opened. Enjoy!

I read "side show bob" as "side boob" -- too much time on the internet.

Awesome, two boxes. Most times you have to pay double for that kind of action!

Those are both awesome boxes, @Oconomowocian and @swenny916. I get excited enough when one box hits my doorstep, I don't know what I'd do if there were two.

Thanks, man. I know it's not your fault. And if, by chance, that box should eventually appear, I will embrace those miracle beers as prodigal sons.

It was such a surprise (and a good one!!)

Amazing!! I'm guessing the other is newer, super excited to try them side by side.
My great grandmother is actually eating with me Sunday night, and she LOVES tart cherries. Misses the ones from her childhood back in Hungary. She can't drink too much (92 supposedly does that to folks) but I might end up sharing some of these with her to see what she thinks =p I will obviously keep everyone updated if such a thing happens!

Twas funny, in the lost box form you are supposed to tell them what to look for (in case a label was torn off and they don't know where to send it)....well. theyre out there looking for some collectible yeast samples and (un-usable and purely historical) vinegars. Cant be foodstuffs, so I thought those were the best two options for what was inside lol
