Credit SA for bringing this back in 6er's, they listened. There's been a lot of requests for this over the last few years, thanks Jim for reading our posts (and numerous e-mails).

Looks like I'll be testing the theory that you can buy alcohol at Sam's Club without a membership. That's the only place where we can get it locally, according to their beer finder.

And I hope they have it in bottles, 'cause cans don't make the cut for the 12 Days of Christmas lineup.

You'll also be testing the accuracy of their beer finder. I'd be really surprised if I find it at two of the stores listed here in town, but I may go searching to find out. Good luck.

Edit: One of the stores here in town has their inventory on their website. No Fezziwig. :slight_frown:

It's certainly not ubiquitous here in the Boston area. Only place I've seen it so far is Total Wine, and even then it was only a couple six packs.

I got it in the variety pack because I really doubt they’ll have the six-packs in my area. It has a rather chalky feel to it this year. I think that too much toffee flavoring did it. Really disappointing but I have one more bottle to try. As for the others in the variety pack, the “remastered” BL is pretty average, Winter Lager is always good (I was able to find boxes of them last year so hoping they’ll have them in standalone format again), the Cold IPA is really crisp and refreshing but maybe a little under-flavored, the Oaked Vanilla Porter is super good, really strong Vanilla smell but it’s not very sweet (would definitely buy in a standalone), and I haven’t tried the last one yet.

Picked up 2 6-packs here in NJ and it is, indeed, in bottles . . . however, not all markets seem to be getting it. YMMV

Saw it at my Wegmans. Plenty so am waiting to get it later.

Ole Fezz definitely used to be the highlight of the yearly variety pack.

Picked some up at Julio's in Westborough this afternoon.
Looks like they had a couple cases of it in their cooler.

Look, my memory isn't the greatest but IIRC "time" began earlier than the mid-1990s.

    Oh, OK.

This is what I've heard about non-members attempting to purchase alcohol in a club store:
Note, too, that in that same thread @ESBHG copy/pasted a Costco reply with a list of states where non-members can buy alcohol and Iowa ain't on it.
Yeah, that's Costco and not Sam's Club but I'd guess that, again, it's more likely state law rather than store policy. (Unless, of course, Iowa was left off Costco's list because there are none in Iowa?)

I concur! The only one that I wasn’t crazy about was the Cranberry Lambic. We usually used those for meat marinade!

The cranberry lambic were my wife's favorite, which worked out perfectly.
