So this is interesting, right ? Its doesnt say anything about them being "sour" ales. Wonder what the market this is for.

    I'm counting the minutes.
Not too long ago one of the stores here had a section of the beer cooler marked "Hard Fruit Juice." (Really.) Maybe this is the market they're going after. And maybe "Epic Squeeze" refers to yet more real beer being squeezed out of shelf space in favor of alco-pop.

And maybe we've finally come full circle. I'm personally looking forward to this returning to the shelves before too much longer:

Sounds pretty similar to Bell's Fruit Fight series. Although Bell's called theirs a tart fruit ale.

Not much at the link about the styles, but i wonder if these are in line with the Jacks Abby Radlers that were released this summer.

Hmmm...I wonder what inspired them to release these fruity beers?

Now watch every other large'ish regional brewery make their own "squeeze" next. 2023 will be Year of the Squeeze whether consumers want it or not.

Totally lost interest after the fruit flavor.
    Nope.
    Real fruit or nothing!
I'm sure there will be a market for them, somewhere?
    I'll definitely pass.

That already happened, back in '04. (Luckily, I "missed" it both times).

"Epic Squeeze", but it doesn't contain the actual fruits/juice. And I used to think that "Natural Flavor(s)" meant it's real food ingredients, but apparently not. Especially in the brewing industry!

Are these even beers or just hard seltzers in disguise?

"...each crisp ale is packed with natural fruit flavor..."

    I'm out!

EDIT: I have a feeling that Gen Z'ers will be all over this.

Is this a reaction to the declining sales of Truly?

    Maybe?

Perhaps a situation of having all of these drums of fruit flavorings sitting around and they needed someplace to put them?

Or maybe just another situation of marketing* 'throwing stuff at the wall' to create a 'new' BB (Beyond Beer) beverage?

    Cheers!

    * I wonder what crazy idea they will come up with next?

Whoa! Maybe that will be the next version? Perhaps they will brand it as Moar Epic Squeeze?

    Cheers!

Wouldn't shock me if they committed to buy X amount of flavoring additive for the next few years. Truly's not selling well enough to justify it...so they're just going to toss it into a beer of some sort. Mission accomplished.
