They have never been good...that old cartoonish Sam Adams on the old labels was also horrendous.

Thanks for sharing what they are here :stuck_out_tongue: I checked the mobile site quickly and did not see any summer lineup. What are they?

As part of the January 2016 variety pack? Hefeweizen made it to the final four in the voting but the Scotch Ale won and was the only one included.

I am all for this, would be cool to give a list of choices and the top rated make it into a customer appreciation pack or such.

I saw on the website that the Cream Stout is back and with a new label. I havent seen the Cream Stout around in a long time.

On there website there is a listing for
    Golden ale
    Pale ale
    Raspberry lemon gose

So I’m assuming the American summer pack this year will be
    Boston Lager
    Summer ale
    Golden ale
    Pale ale
    Raspberry lemon gose
And some other flavor I’m assuming they will bring back the Hefeweizen or Berliner wiess. I would rather see the Hefeweizen though

I'm pretty sure all four were included. Perhaps I am mixing things up...in which case my "wrong" comment seems a bit uncalled for!

My first reaction is that this is a pretty boring pack this year. But as I think more about it, seems like a pretty solid summer pack and a good choice for a BBQ, something for just about everyone in there.

The can variety pack is "Beers of Summer" and it's Sam '76, Hoppy Wheat Ale, Porch Rocker.

When should this pack be out?

The can variety pack isnt worth it since you can already get 2 of them so you'd just be buying it for the wheat ale. It's not really a style I have any interest in tbh. I know some breweries sell and market a "hoppy" wheat ale but it seems unnecessary to me.

    Isn't Boston Lager.....already a red lager?

It's out all over here now so probably in your area too.

Looks like it will be a fall beer, I'm definitely down. I enjoy red ales so a red lager should be up my alley also.

They did one a few years ago called Got to Gose that had cucumber in it if memory serves, it was okay.

I hate to beat a dead horse but none of these beers were "terrible" per say and none were "outstanding." They were all pretty decent. Typical par for the course for Sam Adams. At least none were "bad" because they do tend to stick some stinkers in their seasonal packs on occasion. I must say Summer Ale this year is the best its ever been. Was never a huge fan but it was better than I remembered.

The Gose was fine but if you were expecting the raspberry and lemon flavors to be "intense" well then you got the wrong brewery.
