I'm looking to come into San Diego on Thanksgiving since it's a much cheaper flight. People who live there, are a good amount of the breweries/brewpubs/bars, especially downtown, open on Thanksgiving?
Not many downtown to start with. I don't think a lot of places will be open Thanksgiving, but a few will. I have a vague recollection of Toronado (which is a few miles north) being open on Thanksgivings.

There will be a few bars open downtown. Not sure if they will be craftcentric. Just go to Hamilton's I'm pretty sure I spent a few Christmas' there. And I remember free Christmas dinner, they probably do the same for Thanksgiving.
exactly because basically no one is open. only people besides hamiltons really are just shitty dive bars
Sweet. Hamilton's was on my list anyway. If Toronado and Stone is open I'll go to one or both of those that day too to assist in freeing up the rest of the week. Should be less crowded too so that's always nice. Thanks everyone!
aboslutely thats why i had a beer there last night! No Stone location will be open on Thanksgiving by the way!
