Hi All - my wife and I are doing a coastal road trip from SD to Mendocino at the end of April. The trip isn't beer specific, but we're planning on stopping at a few places along the way. So far we're going to do Societe, Alpine and Bruery. Any other must-stop locations along the way? Would prefer to stick close(ish) to the coast if possible, and I've already been to RR.

    Cheers

Go a little farther to Ft Bragg and go to North Coast Brewing

Stumptown Brewing in Guernville is always a good time.

Nail down your route and then you will probably get more than just random suggestions.

Second the North Coast Brewing recommendation as Fort Bragg is only about 10 miles north of Mendocino.

If you like hoppy beers, then Cellarmaker in SF is a must. Same goes for sours and Rare Barrel in Berkeley.

Firestone Walker, Sante Adairius, Cellarmaker. Alvarado St. in Monterey was quite good.
