    Hey PA/SF/EB/SBBA'ers, normally we do our bottle share @ Grape & Grain on Sundays, however with the NINERS taking on Falcons Sunday, we decided to reschedule it to Saturday the 19th @ noon. We dont open shop till 3pm, so it will just be us in there poppin bottles.

    As always, a tentative headcount is appreciated.

    Welcome to the Bay. Our shares are super casual. Bring whatever you want, no limits, no minimums. Ill be there around 11:45 to set up, so dont plan on getting there too early. We always like having new people. Our groups bring some pretty damn good beer, but even more important fun super nice people.

    Nooooooooo! Not this Saturday!

    Unless my kids can crash on the couch there (and be entertained for 2-3 hours) I am out. Damn it!

    On the bright side, that barrel-aged Bud Light Lime-a-Rita vertical will get another month of age on it to... you know... smooth it out a little more... let those flavors meld. You'll thank me later.

    Hmmm... I'll be in SF with my wife on Saturday, and she has something work related going on that afternoon. Maybe I can convince her to drop me off in San Mateo for a couple of hours?

    Looks like I'm in, with my wife joining also. Might be a touch late, as we're going to fit a morning bike ride on the peninsula and lunch in first (to make sure we don't get hyper-faded -- her birthday dinner is later that night, so the mid-evening hangover isn't an option).

    Definitely bringing a Temptation Batch 4, a BA Solar Eclipse from Kuhnhenn, and one (likely small) bottle to be named.

    1 750 or 2 12 ozs is usually the way to go. More than that and it can get sloppy quick, given the strength of some of the selections.

    Yeah this time we do a 50/50 Eclipse tasting and their bourbon counterpart. I'm responsible for the 50/50 Eclipse, everyone brings at least one 750ml bottle of bourbon. Let see who can make it home. :slight_smile:

    I have noticed that some people have deep cellars and want to share lots, and others are just building, broke, or new to the game. I like the idea that people bring whatever they want and popping bottles as we all see fit. Sometimes somebody brings a whole cooler, we dont pop anything...sometimes we pop the whole cooler.

    It's looking a bit iffy since im spending all Sunday watching football and drinking lots of beer I have to do some weird thing called compromising : /

    But I'm still hopeful on stopping bye for at least a bit (I do live in San Mateo!)
