Time for a story. No Mike no more fu**ing stories!

Took daughter #1 to the retinal specialist. She would not be able to drive home afterwards. Kid has had so many vision problems the last few years. Lost sight in one eye for close to a year. Cataract surgery at age 35! Surgery on the other eye took six months before vision returned.

Anyway, that is not my point. While in the waiting room for two hours I had a feeling. Call it a vision (since we were in an eye doc office). Call it a premonition. Hell, call it some weird flashback.

Maybe it was caused by the change in temperature. Maybe it was some barometric effect. Or maybe some kind soul was looking out for me.

I am here to tell you that a beer box is headed my way from some awesome dude on this thread. If true, gonna make my weekend.

 

So, I've been hit by a poetic @LloydDobler in an unsolicited attack. I was a target of his in the previous round and, apparently, once a target, always a target, which is a bit unnerving. Now, on with the show...

Transient- Crushable and Moon Money (both new ticks)
Maplewood- Brownie Points w/Vanilla and Son of Juice (a new tick and an old favorite)
Oddside- Double Boysenberry, Blackberry, Black Currant Fruitsicle and Double Strawberry Pineapple Fruitsicle (2 new ticks)
2 mystery beers with Cubs stickers on the caps,which was a nice touch, I am supposed to side by side. One is 13% and the 15%, so that can only go well.
And finally solid glassware from Maplewood.

Enjoy! The mystery beer(to my knowledge from stalking) are also a couple new ticks. Just a tiny box, no need to return fire. I’m already struggling trying to put a dent in the beers I got clobbered with this round!

I am glad to hear this. I owe you some brew and am glad if you can grant me some time. I am now three boxes in debt to kind folks on this thread.

I had an awesome stout today brewed by Steam Bells. Be curipous if you would like to try it.

Barely any sleep right now. My wife is in the middle of a 10 day trip out of the country. We have no support system here so I’m flying “solo”. “So low” on sleep that I’m making dumb jokes and trying to rhyme.

 

The brews look good. Food. Anything cajun is beyond cool. Nice hit @dprice !
