Watching the Mets offense makes me want to roll the dice and try another beer from @FlintB from the “hell” box.


Smells like it may have lived in a barrel at one point. It’s kind of nutty, too thin for a stout I think. No idea the style. Not terrible and Nimmo just dingered so it was a wise choice.

Late to the party but I can’t stop watching the Joe Kelly clips from yesterday.

 

One of the worst trades in the past 10+ years. Ok, maybe the worst.

 

YES! Loved seeing that. I can’t believe the astros even got mad. They have to be expecting that stuff for the whole season.

 

So Captain Gary landed this awesome LIF box on my porch yesterday. He must have driven to Atlanta and back because I thought my guess would be high but I was way under. Anyway here are the goods:

All kinds of Gulf coast goodies here, including a bunch from Parish- GITM (big want stoked for this), Reve coffee stout, Grenache Berliner, Blueberry Mochi and Pinor Noir & Black Current Berliner (these look great), Great Raft Old Man Joy porter, Southern Prohibition Paradisde Lost IPA and an All Relation/ Great Notion collab Spaghetti Model Berliner. These are all awesome new ticks that I am stoked to try. Thank you very much @SouthernSips for being so generous with these. Stay safe on your next trip and I promise to explain to you all of the pictures that @Orca_Whale posts while you are gone so you won't miss anything. Cheers!

We actually drove to Tallahassee, so you weren't too far off! One thing I forgot to mention in my note is I think that's the Old Mad "Almond" Joy variant, should say on the bottom of the can.

Its Thursday so that means another box on my porch. Today it was @jhavs turn. He crushed it. They just kept coming one after the other, it was just a magnificent haul. Keep in mind this is box #2...

Hill Farmstead - Difference & Repetition Hallertau Blanc & Simcoe, Society & Solitude #5, Barreled Souls- PB&J Stay Puft (1st Barreled souls-stoked to try this!), River Roost- as fate would have it Saision (fave style), Lawson's Fayston Maple in Mad River Rum Barrels (with a killer glass!!), HF- Self Reliance Cascade IPA, CD 2020 (100% benefiting racial equity- very fitting given the idea behind this series and these crazy times), Alchemist- Squidgy Black BA stout, blind, and Proclamation Ale - Stalk (new brewery tick). Plus some tasty looking VT maple beef jerky and a VT beef stick and the green bottle is angry goat hippy dippy avocado and kiwi hot sauce.

Thank you so much Jonathan, this is just outstanding along with the first box that you sent. I appreciate all the time and effort to track all of these down. Can't decide which one to have after I get to this blind!! So many awesome choices.

Have to say I am so lucky to have had @Dragginballs76 and @jhavs as senders as they both blew me away with their generosity. This group is the best!

Filled with wants and other awesome new brews with some coffee and BBQ sauce that looks great along with a proper gw mug for my coffee and a sweet shirt!

Getting in to the blind brew from @strohme2 ...it smells like cinnamon toast crunch!!!...possibly a french tost vibe going on too...its F'n delicious whatever it is...I think I remember a mothership brew from founders being in that ballpark, so I will go with that...

 

@EMH73 Evan decided to hit me with another box (minus the Entenmanns) filled with some great beers. Sand City, Destination Unknown (new to me), Finback (love these guys!), and some Grimm sours. Along with that, some delicious looking bacon aioli and a nice Sand City tulip.

And I believe @Joplamp smacked me today...i had mentioned not being able to track down Perrins No Rules since they changed up how they released it.....well today a six shipper showed up with a 4 year Vert!!!! Holy Crap Man!!!!
